The Abhorrent Fire Elemental roared with a guttural scream, its form was a swirling inferno, shaped vaguely like a lion with multiple tongues of flame whipping out like serpents from its body. The skies above cracked from the heat distortion, while the ground beneath turned into molten slag, bubbling and sinking into the fractured crust of the Shard Region.
Davis and the others arrived in a fire-attributed Shard Region that was marked as the Molten Rays Shard Region.
Here, an Abhorrent Fire Elemental appeared before them, blocking their path.
Lucian stepped forward, his golden robes and blonde hair fluttering despite the stillness of his posture. His golden eyes gleamed, and flames slowly coiled from his fingertips like reverent wisps responding to a deity's command.
"Leave it to me, father," Lucian said, his voice calm but resonant, like a sun slowly rising over a battlefield.
