Why were they so excited?
They were locked up in the deep mountains and forests for more than two years. They only watched the news on television and watched the military channels for entertainment. Occasionally, they would go to the other side of the mountain for a holiday. When catching birds, they had to study whether it was a male or female. When they suddenly saw the live version of a romance movie, even if it was just a kiss, it became the most exciting thing in their eyes.
Their hormones were surging, and their adrenal cortex was erupting like a volcano. They wanted to calm down, but they really couldn't.
They couldn't remain calm. Actually, the veterans were the same. They were just a little more reserved.
