I had stopped even the smallest movement of my body and covered myself with stealth.

The second passed, and the monster kept sniffing around, coming closer to me and going farther. It played around for a minute and a half before the monster began walking away.
I watched it leave and stayed frozen, even when it disappeared from my sight.
It was at the fourth minute that I unlocked my body from the freeze and took a big sigh of relief.
