Chapter 129 - Magic The Gathering Part 3 Gate Watch and Nicol Bolas

2 years later-

.

Azul and his forces met up on Zendikar. Jaina allowed the Gatewatch that formed to set up there. She made it very known that any problems would not be tolerated. She was not kidding when she said Zendikar was under her control and that of several Alliance members. The good news, a few functions of the System returned.

And access to his Nether World was easier now. The Mass Effect Relay he created still worked wonders. So great that he made 4 more. Given them to his key generals to use. The first still went with him.

The war across the Planes was still under way. Elspeth and her people were finally rebuilding as their Plane no longer existed in Magic the Gathering. They existed in Azul's Nether World. He left it alone to rebuild. The mana that gathered from everything was used completely on the Plane and to replenish forces for fighting.

Elspeth and Blaster Blade (Ahmes) lead a force that would continue to fight. They refused to sit back and let others do all the work. They settled into Jaina's Alliance on Zendikar. Which just boosted her authority even more. This did not go unnoticed by several people. But they could do nothing and would do nothing. Jaina proved to be a very fair Leader. Strong but understanding.

Her adopted daughter Nissa, helped appease people with her peaceful ways. As well as her willingness to work with several forces to come to an understanding.

"They should not exist like this, this is just ugh." Azul griped a little. Dressed in his Alliance Armor from Mass Effect, Slannesh on his hip. Froustmourne needed to rest still. The Dark Dictator form was extremely taxing. And only worked well in dire situations. Next to him was Lettie. Down below were the members of Gate Watch. Composed of several Planeswalkers he never expected to be togethor at the time. "Alita defintely overstepped with Jane and Swift."

"It will be fine. Maybe.." Lettie was just speculating. Pulling Azul's arm over her, she was content. 'Fighting, traveling, and killing. The simple things in life.' Feeling the wash over from his Pather Power made her tingle. "Umm, that feels peaceful. I like this a lot. Not to bad every now and then."

"Well, you two look peachy." Liliana said coming up the staircase. Gideon, Jeska, Kaervek, Jolrael, and some artificial creature was coming up at the rear. A living artifact of powerful designs. "A shame you will not join Gatewatch."

"I do not like it. Seems iffy." Azul shrugged. Considering it was comprised of powerful forces and more Planeswalkers than he knew about from different timelines and era's, he was defintely against getting to involve with them. "My offer still stands for you two. What say you?"

"We agree." Gideon said. A small look of pain flickered on his face. Doubt still about the plans. But something about Azul made him seem trustworthy. "Best to get started now."

"So we are going to go and talk with Nicol Bolas.. that just sounds like a bad idea." Jeska said with humor. She had a smile on her face at the idea of though. A very mercurial young woman. "That pain in the ass Dragon might just kill us."

"If you had the power to turn into a Dragon, would that make you more comfortable?" Lettie asked. She pulled on Azul's arms affectionately. Just to see the reactions on a few faces. "My brother can do it for you."

"If he can, defintely has my support even more so." Kaervek said. The others nodding lightly in agreeance. They stepped outside to get started. The building was a little to stuffy for Azul. 'With this power, I can defintely move up higher and make my ambitions a reality.'

'Such a simple-minded man. A shame I know he is trouble.' Azul thought to Lettie as they walked hand in hand. 'What do you think we should do?'

'Give him what he wants. See where it takes him. Zendikar is not staying here anyway. So, if we give him power, he will most likely go elsewhere after a little suggestion. Make him someone else's problem.' Lettie was amused by the man's thoughts and didn't mind seeing him try and ultimately fail. If he amounted to something, then that was all the better.'

Several members watched and looked on interested. Some for terrible reasons and some to make sure to find out what threats they held. They watched from the windows of the building keeping mindful of the meeting discussed as well.

Civic Guild, the Shaper Guild, the Shadow Guild, the Armorer Guild and the Granger Guild representatives watched quietly. The Leader of the group Teferi was down in the meeting. Despite the rules of the group, they held reservations about Gatewatch.

"What do you think that is about Jace?" Chandra asked. "They didn't say much once again while here."

"I have know idea. The armor they wear makes it almost impossible to try telepathy around them. The spells they have cast make it to dangerous to try and counteract. Magic like I have never seen before." Jace lamented.

Both he and Chandra were the most against Azul moving about. Especially since they saw him fighting on a joint operation in Jamuraa: Tivan Desert. Azul and Lettie moved like monsters as they complete their goals. Enemies that surrender were executed on the spot.

Lettie and Azul knew they were lying. And unlike the two, Jace and Chandra, they took no risk on the good of the individuals.

-Changing and Planeswalking-

.

"Well, here you go." Azul passed out a sphere to each of them. Dragoon spirits forged before he came to Magic the Gathering. "With this, you can fight Dragons better as well as help you tame the Dragon within."

"Why is hers so large?" Kaervek asked jealous. He was staring at the one Liliana held. Seeing the one Jeska had, he was annoyed even further. "This is crap."

"It is because your mind is so small." Lettie pinched her fingers togethor to illustrate. "Little man, if you were not so conceited and arrogant, it wouldn't be so. Look how it changes because of the way you think."

As they stared, it did shrink. The energy inside becoming more polluted. But intense as well. Slowly the others could feel a change from the ones they had as well. All but Gideon and the automaton that Azul realized was Karn after some thought.

Compliments of his self in Legend of Dragoon finishing things up there. Taking the memories and updating the him there was a good boon. One of the few Worlds that he didn't bother to mess with personally since taking it over. The him there was happy to live a life out with Rose. As two of the Guardians watching over till the end or just forever.

A strange occurrence happen when he thought that upon leaving mentally. The Azul there and Rose became a paired Pillar of the World. It was weird. To much to look into with everything going on. So he left it be.

"Hmmm." Gideon thought of peaceful times ahead once everything was finally over. The magic inside intensifying in response. Azul smiled at him. He was completely connected to each of the Dragoon Spirits. "I, see. So I determined the type of Dragon I will be."

"Good job understanding that. I thought it would take at least a few hours. So much for getting a chance to explain things." Azul found it odd Lettie grabbed his arm again when he tried to pull away. A quick feel and he realized she was scared of something. 'What is it?'

'A Quest I received. Avenge the White Woods. I do not want to leave your side.' Lettie turned to embrace him. Not minding the others in any way. 'If one of us is not by your side, it feels like this World will try to tear you apart.'

'I understand. I have some help coming soon. Some will go with you to help. That way you finish and join back up soon.' Azul watched as the System message appeared for two Pulls he did. 'I think you trust her enough with me.'

System: Medium Pull target found... additional Pull used for attachment. The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon Spyro & Cynder. Both agreed to be Companions as long as they are togethor.

Lettie gave him a critical stare as a Gold Rift opened. Out walked Dark Samus, Samus, and Megaman X. In the only bodies, the latter two had. They for some reason refused to do so, Azul never would understand besides they never wanted to separate somewhat from each other. Not romantic or anything like that. They just felt comfortable around each other.

"Sup?" Spyro asked first. His purple scales shining in the sun. Next to him, Cynder just gave a head nod. "Possible evil Dragon causing trouble, let us handle it."

"You are going with her. Just in case for an ambushed." Azul gestured to Lettie.

"Aww, babysitting duty." Spyro said annoyed. He felt a sense of danger and looked up to see a blade pointed at him. Lettie had an arched brow at him. "Hehe.. I mean.. I miss spoke."

"So mouthy, try not to get killed while we work." Lettie almost growled at him. She gave Azul a pat on the cheek taking off in flight. "We will be back shortly." Lettie turned into a large black dragon taking off in flight.

"She is fast!" Spyro covered in purple flames took off. Cynder doing much the same. "Have a sense of adventure Cyn."

"You have enough adventure for both of us." Cynder's thoughts were on the powerful Azul and Lettie were. Trying to figure out what restrained them so much. 'Maybe they are waiting for something.'

"We are not going to be that tiny are we?" Karn asked. The tone was neutral and somewhat unnerving. "I do not want to be small."

"No. They are young still but you are adults. Your form will match it." Azul shook his head after feeling the irritation from Samus And Megaman X. "You two will remain here and help the locals. As well as gather intel if you can."

"And myself?" Dark Samus asked.

"With us." Azul stared at her deeply. Looking directly into her eyes through the visor. "I am going to need you worst comes to worse." She nodded understanding.

"Bzzzzt!" Large waves of magic pulsed as Gideon took in the Dragoon Spirit. Followed by Liliana and the rest. One after the other.

"Such power." Jeska said. She was dressed in a purple Draconic armor. Shifting winds passing around her uncontrolled till she concentrated. Small traces of poison in them. "Defintely increase in my black mana as well an increase to green."

"Raaah!" Kaervek roared as he flew up. Not wanting to look mediocre he pushed himself. The first to turn into a Dragon. A large Red Dragon at that. His wings beating powerfully but not to hard. "Such a connection.. to the Plane itself."

"Well, he is a right show off. Humph!" Jeska snorted. Her eyes went to Kharn. Seeing the very humanoid visage he now had. "You look.. human."

"He looks like Teferi." Liliana said. She held back her laughter after remembering a few talks about the early days of Kharn at some magic school. "Which is odd to say the least. Why is that?"

"He took the form of the man he knew the most with certain... things. Which would be Teferi considering the beginning relationship the two shared. Plus he is light skin while Teferi is dark skinned. That should be enough." Azul gave a shrug. It was technically his fault as well but he wouldn't tell him that. "He can wear a toupe or a mask if he wants."

"I can breathe." Kharn took a deep breath exhaling happily. "The sensations is odd. But pleasant." The draconic armor he wore was a pale bone-white. "I must see what it is like as a dragon." Stepping away, he changed to an enormous Earth-Dragon. his frame wide and very powerful. "Stupendous!"

"I have got to see what it is like." Gideon change next but he was calm as he did so. A large silver gold dragon. The others changing next after the mental danger passed. "Liliana.. you look familiar."

"Humph, Crosis." Liliana snorted. "The memories of the primeval Dragon was inside. I am sure each of you have other memories as well." The others immediately tapping into the thoughts next. She turned to Azul looking down. 'Your something else. I will Follow, my User.'

System: Liliana Vess has become a True Follower. Increase in magic.

"If we go into battle, I am riding you." Dark Samus said. This earned a smile from Azul. "Just saying, a charge shot from me will do some damage. What are we fighting anyway?"

"Maybe a Dragon. A very powerful one. Who knows so far." Azul waited till they were use to the transformation. Once they all turned back to normal he activated the spell. "Off to Amonketh's capital... oh boy."

Elsewhere-

.

A man dressed in power armor from Warhammer 30k-40k moved about in a Plane hidden away from prying eyes. Several other Users were in a meeting talking over the next few plans and which World they would take under their control.

The man was Indigo. Galtea's original user and wielder of Time Power at a very disgusting level. If Azul was saw this, he would recognize a few of the User. The one's who caused him trouble when Jane called the meeting a long time ago. They did not heed the warning and embraced the offer Indigo gave them.

The User who arm was lost against Azul had it back now. He looked angry and was dressed in Sith robes now. Standing there as a control module in his chest gently pulsed. He was controlled only slightly. Biscuit as several people called him.

The female User that caused Azul to go berserk was wearing Egyptian robes. Her appearance looking close to Ishizu Ishtar. Minus the Millenium item since, Lettie took them all from every game with extreme prejudice to anyone who got in her way. The two did clash in Yu-Gi-Oh Duelist of the Roses, but that ended with the place getting leveled to dust. Both died and the place still hadn't reset yet.

The two clashed again in Cardfight Vanguard. But their Prime Soul left to come to Magic the Gathering. With neither knowing the outcome of what happened to them that were left.

The martial art wearing User with the GI was there as well. however, the control Nodule inside him was fully on. He was completely controlled and forced to do their bidding.

"The boss lady said we need to speed up the timetable." Indigo said. The Traitor Users looked shocked. they thought that indigo was the leader the way he acted. A slight look on his face showed disgust at the very mention of a leader. "The Plane's that are resiting are to be taken over and the World Shard ripped from the one's that resist."

"That.." The female User was against the idea of doing so. She was a bad person but not for outright genocide like she had been hearing. Indigo passed over a X-Pull to her. She shut up immediately after that. 'Shit, it will be fine once we finish everything. And this payment is to good to be true.'

"Brrrpp!" The Users left. Leaving Indigo by himself. A Rift opened and in walked a woman dressed in Purple. Slight blood staining her robes.

"Chronoa, how are you? Who blood is that?" Indigo asked. He hid his distaste well. But she still picked up on it.

"My own. Azul has grown to powerful. Even with his low level, his Soul is to Powerful." Chronoa sat down in a chair she pulled from her inventory. It was made of skulls. "I thought you were going to take care of him?!"

Her Power hit against Indigo causing him to feel fear deep in his soul. She sent magical strands that caused him to feel a small taste of her fear.

"I.. am.. He is proving quite the trouble." Indigo spoke once she let up. Keeping quiet about the fact she was injured by him as an insult. "If he can injure you, what do you think I can do this so easy? The Administration has caught wind of things somehow. Making it harder to move."

"Tch, Galtana... she has grown even more powerful from the time I knew her as an Operator." Her fingers touched against the skull throne. Thoughts on how she should have taken the User Noir as a disciple, instead of Indigo. He just did not have what it takes for what she needed. "Even as a none Roleplaying User, you have a very decent mind for things. Clean up your situation with Azul and your former Operator Galtea. I need you to move against a User called Thrasher. He has messed with my forces in Warhammer to much for my liking."

"I can go now." Indigo said smugly. "Galtea is already mine." Chronoa kept her face neutral as she watched him. "Take care, I will pay Thrasher a visit then find Azul and send some time attacks to Azul's soul."

"Bwoom!" Indigo left in a chalky black Rift.

"Pathetic little man!" Indigo sneered. Her face looking malicious under her cowl. arm touching where Azul touched her. His attack, in Chronoa's weak stated caused a bit of a problem. "To think he is able to Pather-Rewrite already." A smile appeared on her face. "A Pather to match me or for me to step on.. I wonder if the Creator planned this?"

"Bwwwwoooommmm!" A large influx of power entered her. Several of her forces sent World Shards to her. Speeding up her recovery process. The injury from Azul and her blood were completely gone from sight.

"So close to reaching Level 97 again. I guess I need to find a few more Administrator's to mess with. I know just the fool to mess with." A screen appeared showing the Administrator Clawdis. "Sorry but not sorry Galtana, but he is to good of a mark. And will not even cause me to use deceit."

"Slich!" A black membrane engulfed her. A marvel fan would know it to be a Symbiote. As her form changed, the skull throne seeped into her body, boosting her power even more.
