Noon:
With a swing of her hand, Furyoku summons a wind so strong it picks Nemo and me up. We scream as our feet leave the ground.
"Noon," Emica shouts.
"Noon," Nemo yells. He shoots out his arm and tries to grab me, but it's no use. The wind throws us in different directions.
"Noon," Emica shouts again. "Watch out!"
"What!"
Looking around, I see myself flying toward a wall.
"Ahhh!"
Crossing my arms and bracing myself, I crash right through the wall. Falling on the other side, I rub my throbbing head while picking myself up.
"Noon," Emica says, appearing beside me. "Noon! Are you okay?"
"Minus the headache, yeah. Thankfully, this is a fake wall."
Shaking the headache off, I look at the pieces of cardboard at my feet.
"Ohh. Uhhh, this isn't my fault."
"No. It's her. Hide!"
Seeing Furyoku approaching, flying through the air, I quickly duck and hide behind the fake wall. As I hide, I also see Freddy beside Furyoku. He's still unconscious and is being carried in a tornado.
"Where are you?" Furyoku shouts. "Show yourself!"
"Yeah? How about I show you a friend of mine?"
I turn to Emica and smile. Emica smiles, and I bring out the ruby rose from my pocket.
"A beautiful red rose blooms."
Furyoku:
"Strange," I think, still looking around. "Where did that girl go?"
Seeing a city background set with a large hole in it, I fly to the cardboard wall and look behind it. I see torn pieces of cardboard scattered everywhere, but no girl.
"It's like she just disappeared into thin air. Hmph. Fine then. Never mind."
Swinging my hand around, I bring Freddy up in front of me.
"Don't worry, Freddy. I will protect you like how you protected me that day."
I hear those horrible laughs from that day. I hear those harsh words those bullies threw at me. I then hear Freddy roaring and screaming, scaring them away. I laugh and smile, seeing whipped cream falling out of Freddy's mouth.
"I never knew Freddy was such a famous actor at the time, but despite being so famous, he still took the time to help me. Me? A nobody."
Still smiling, my smile vanishes when I see a chain shooting from the side. Screaming and pushing Freddy out of the way, the chain going past the two of us, I turn and look up. There, I see a woman standing on the top of one of the building's rooftops.
Dressed in a bright red jumpsuit, the girl has a long brown ponytail and wears a red mask that covers her nose and mouth. Beside the long wooden staff on her back, she is swinging a chain with a weight on one end.
"Who are you!"
"That is the Red Rose Ninja," Don' Yokuna Yokubo answers. "She wants to separate you and Freddy! Quickly, take the source of her power! The Red Ruby!"
Seeing something glowing on the Red Rose's belt, I nod.
"Don'Yokuna. I understand!"
Looking at Freddy, I slowly and carefully swing my hand, pulling Freddy away. I then turn to this Red Rose Ninja.
"You are not going to hurt Freddy!"
With extra wind shooting out from beneath my feet, I launch toward the ninja.
Seeing me coming, the Red Ninja jumps back. Backflipping out of the way, I can tell my wind still messes with her. She shakes and stumbles even after landing on her feet. Having to raise her hand to shield her face, she pulls back her chain before turning to me.
Screaming as she throws it at me, I roll my eyes and watch the chain go right through me. Rolling my eyes again, I watch as the girl pulls the chain back.
"You're going to need more than a chain or a stick to beat me."
Cutting the air with my hand, I send a gust of wind toward the red ninja. It shoots toward the red ninja, but she jumps out of the way, flipping it over and dodging it. Switching her chain for her staff, she runs toward me and swings it all over.
I laugh and shake my head.
"I told you. You're going to need more than a stick to beat me."
Emica Kana:
Spinning and twirling my bo staff, I jump and try to hit Furyoku again, but as expected, my staff goes right through her.
"Noon," I whisper. "Did you find it? Do you know where the dakura tchingu is hiding?"
"No," Noon answers, flying all over Furyoku. "I can't see anything! Her whole body is made of air! She's basically invisible! Emica, watch out!"
Turning, I see Furyoku shoot out one of her hands. Pulling back, I cross my arms to shield myself as a powerful gust of wind hits me. My skin turns cold, and my eyes go dry as I try to stay on my feet.
"Hold on, Emica!" Noon shouts. "Hold on!"
"I'm---trying!"
The wind pushes one of my feet off the rooftop. I have to scream and stomp it back down.
"Ahhhh!"
Opening my eyes, looking through the cracks in my arms, I see Furyoku taking a deep breath.
"Oh no."
Literally blowing me off the rooftop, Noon chases me as I fall. Putting my bo staff away, I pull out my chigirki and raise it above my head. Swinging it in circles, I throw the end onto a rooftop. It catches on the ledge, and I swing through the air before hitting a wall.
"Ahhh...Oww."
"Emica, are you okay?"
"Yes. I'm okay."
"Awesome. Yeah. I'm definitely going to be feeling that later. Sweet moves, by the way."
"Thank you."
"I'm not done with you, yet!"
Noon and I, turning around, see Furyoku hovering nearby. Pulling back one of her hands, she throws it out again, sending another windstorm.
"Watch out!" Noon screams.
Moving fast, I climb up the wall until I can put my feet flat against it. Stomping them, I then jump. I dodge the wind, but when the wind hits the wall, it bounces back and catches me.
"Ahhhh!"
I pull back my chigirki and try to throw it again, but as I swing it in circles, I fall on the hard ground.
"Emica! Emica!"
Pushing myself over, I see Noon kneeling over me.
"Emica! Are you okay? Please, be okay!"
"Noon. Noon! I'm fine. I'm...fine."
Breathing in and out, in and out, I quickly push myself up and turn around. Clearing my throat, I smile as I look up at Noon.
"You may need some ice later."
"I think we're going to need more than ice, Emica. Look!"
Pointing up, I follow Noon's finger and look. There, still hovering in the air, is Furyoku. Slowly descending toward us, I try to throw my chigirki, but with another swing of her hand, a windstorm catches it and throws it back down.
"You're not escaping me," Furyoku shouts. "Not until you give me what I want!"
Throwing both her hands, another windstorm appears, this one stronger than before. The windstorm surrounds Noon and me, trapping us. Still breathing in and out, I back away and pull out my bo staff.
