White Tree is a generic term; in this region, there were varieties such as Silver Ancient White Tree, Star Soil White Tree, Bright Sun White Tree, and others. Each variety had slight differences and all had mutated after the apocalypse.
Yong'an Sanctuary had discovered this treasure land early on. In the era before Engraving Rune equipment had emerged, the use of White Trees for wood armor and weapons had allowed the official Awakeners of Yong'an Sanctuary to prevail in fights against Demonized Beasts.
