"Hey Sally, what about this one?" Maya asked the Slimet. "NU-UH, IT LOOKS WEIRD!" She shrieked, waving her slime dress around, her fingers swaying in a bratty way. I laughed at this as another groan slipped through Maya's lips. "Alright, Alright guys. Time to fake sleep." I announced. It was already 9:50 pm and we knew Mrs. Margret would come check up on us very soon. Sally hopped into her jar, Maya screwing up the top as I layed in bed and Maya hid Sally under her covers. Once it was 10:00pm we shut our eyes close, waiting for the creak of the door. There wasn't even footsteps. There was...no one." Once it was 10:10 we sat up, puzzled looks on our faces. There was soon a knock on the door.
I quickly got off the bed and tip toed across the wooden, patty floor, bear foot and opened the creaky door. The boys then rushed in. Startled, I quickly closed the door and locked it. "What are you guys doing here?" Maya hissed. "Margret and her fat ass is out there guarding the entrance." Adrien hissed back. "What?!" I whisper yelled. "Yeah. Now she knows about our sneaking out, we are in deep shit." Liam groaned. "Ok, different pairs guys. I'll go with Liam, Adrien with Maya." I announced. "What, why?" Maya asked, puzzled. "Because we need a plan and if she sees 2 girls out of their dorm, she'll think of it as something else going on." I explained.
"True but we need a plan to get past her." Liam confronted. "I can distract her." Sally yelled out her jar. Without hesitaion I took sally's jar out the dorm and near the door where Margret was. I hid behind a table, quickly unscrewing the cover, letting Sally slitter on the cold marble floor, leaving green slime behind her. She made a loud whistle, making Margret chase her. I quickly ran back to the dorm with her jar. "Sally won't hold her off for long. Do you have the weapons?" I asked Adrien. He nodded, handing me half of them. I stuffed them in an extra back pack I had. Wore comfortable clothes and headed off. Once we slipped through the door, I waited for sally to jump back into the Jar in my hands at the entrance. Once I saw her coming, she jumped in. There was no sign of Margret so we ran through the field and back in front of the the Forbidden forest.
"Ok. Adrien and Maya, you guys go right of the forest while we go straight to the mansion. There are more monsters running around the forest than they are in the mansion. We have to take them out one by one." Liam explained. "Look at you, not being scared to walk right into danger." Adrien teased. Liam just rolled his eyes and took my hand. "Ok, we meet back here ok." I explained. They just nodded and we ran off, sliding under the banner without hesitation. This time the feeling was almost as strong as a tornado. "Oh my god, why is this feeling always stronger every time we come here." Liam groaned, helping me off the floor.
We held hands all the way to the mansion as I flashed my flashlight on the trees. I was surprised. It was quite, weirdly quite. No shadow colosuss, weird. We opened the heavy, creaky door and ran up the right of the mansion where we saw the scary monsters. I firstly dragged Liam to the door where we saw the 'Child Barrior' monster but it wasn't there. We stood at the bottom of the stairs until we spotted the only door we haven't checked. It was dripping with blood, REAL BLOOD?!
"I'm not sure I wanna check that one out." I mumbled. He just took my hand in his and smiled at me. It took all my courage to follow him up the stairs. Once we where finally there, we stared up at the horrifying bloody door. "Let's peak through the key hole, it's safer." Liam explained. He the leaned into the door's key hole. Not even few seconds later, he pulled away, gasping.
"What, What did you see?" I asked, curious. "See for yourself." He exclaimed. I just leaned into the doors key hole and what I saw horrified me for life. Every teen missing from school where hanging from the ceiling, ropes on their necks, blood splattered everywhere and a jar filled with green glowing crying out souls, probably theirs. I then looked and felt bad. There was Amy, hanging from the highest one. Poor Maya, she'll be devistated. I sighed, pulling back. "Amy's there. Poor Maya." I mumbled. Liam just reached for my hand and squeezed it, smiling at me.
"Should we go tell the others what we saw?" He asked, his smile turning into a sad frown. "Yeah, lets go look for them." I sighed. I led Liam out the mansion with my flashlight. We yelled 'Adrien, Maya!' several times. We found them beside Gooey's cave, arguing, not suprised. "Hey guys. " Liam mumbled. "Adrien keeps leading us in circles." Maya exclaimed. "Well sorry 'Mrs. Perriwinkle'." He groaned. Maya just groaned and folded her arms in annoyance. "Guys, we found something....tragic." I mumbled. "What?" Adrien asked, his facial expression changing from angry to confused. "We kind of found the missing children." Liam explained. "Where/ Did you see my sister?" Maya asked, releasing her hands from her chest. "You guys should see for yourselves." I mumbled, feeling the strong urge to faint for some reason.
"Ok?" Adrien sighed, still clearly confused. We led the back to the mansion, up the stairs and to the bloody door. The first person to look was Adrien and he just gagged once he pulled away. Then, it was Maya's turn. I felt bad as tears rolled down her cheeks. "Sorry Maya." Adrien mumbled. "Wait, where's Gooey/" I asked both of them. They then looked at each other then back at us. "He went back to his cave." Adrien explained. We just nodded. "Sally is still in my back pack. Let's see whether she can give us a better description of the room. " I thought out loud, reaching for my back pack and getting Sally's jar. I unscrewed it, as she popped her head out the top. "Hey Sal, can you get us a better description of the room?" I asked her. She excitedly nodded. She hopped out the glass jar and unto the door handle. She then slipped into the key hole.
Few minutes past then she came back out, a terrified look on her face. "T-There is a big monster there with white teeth stained with blood a-and it's hands filld with some new souls." Sally shrieked. "Ok, thank you Sal." I sighed. I placed her into the jar and screwed it back on. "I have heard of that monster before. Guys, we have to get Gooey and get out of here. Tomorrow we'll try to get information about it in the book." Adrien suggested. We all nodded but soon heard a huge growl coming from the other side of the room. We all ran in chorus of screams, out of the mansion and to the banner. We slid under it and ran back to the doors of MAC. Margret must have gone to sleep so we slid through the doors and ran to the dorm and locked the door. "Wait guys, we left Gooey." Liam groaned. "Shit, we'll get him back tomorrow." Maya exclaimed. We all decided to stay in the dorm and talk about the new monster , none of us getting a wink of sleep nor did the boys even go back to their dorm.
I don't think any of us can un-see the sight we saw that night. The kids are dead and we couldn't save then on time.
