The four heroes begin to fight the Lugren. A strange sound was emitted out from the behemoth. It seems to be sort of a howl. Basch recognized what it was doing.
He alerts the others that the howl is calling other fiends to help the Lugren. The heroes begins to strategize, Shio begins to help villagers who still haven't escaped or injured.
As Shio helped the villagers escaped. It seems that the heroes on the move. In the distance, knights were marching to the village.
After helping the villagers escaped, Shio takes a breather to see the heroes fighting in the background. He wonders to himself about how he can become strong like the heroes if he trains hard.
As the Lugren begins to take damage from the heroes. A dark aura was seen to be emitting from it. Knocking back the heroes and made the air around itself harder to get to it.
As the battle was still continuing, fiends starts to make their way to the village. Iona starts to play a song. Unleashing Raiken upon the battlefield, slashing and dashing through fiends it passes by.
More and more fiends starts to get inside the village. The general of the knights noticed that some villagers were still haven't escaped. He let out a shout, "Protect the villagers and this village with your life!"
A war cry was heard from the soldiers. The general and his soldiers charges toward the horde of fiends. Protecting the villagers and fighting the fiends with their life.
Running through the battlefield was Yagura dodging the Lugren's attack and crippling it with his lightning daggers.
Amy starts to grow some huge vines out of the ground immobilizing the Lugren from any movement. The Lugren struggles to get out but instead was damaged from the thorns on the vines.
Iona starts to change the tone of her song. Buffing the allies and Basch seems to be glowing with power. Seems that Basch is ready for his next heroic attack.
Basch starts to run towards the immobilized Lugren with his blade sheathe. He stops at a certain point. He takes a step forward and soon inhales. Hand on the handle of his katana.
In that split second, Basch unsheathe his Murasama.
"Blossom Arts - Rising Sun."
Blood spurts out from the Lugren forming that of a blossom tree and leaves.
Killing the Lugren in one move. The Lugren was cut in half and starts to dissipate into the air. As the huge behemoth was slain. The lower fiends starts to run flee.
The battle is over. The general and knights let out a victory cry. Shio was amazed of how the heroes were during the fight.
The heroes begin to group up in the middle of the village and seem to be congratulate with praise from the villagers and knights.
Shio wanted to shake their hands but instead watch from the back. Basch sees Shio in the distance and runs up to him.
"Hey kid, you did good out there. We might need more brave heroes like you."
"Thanks. But you guys did most of the work."
"Well, kind of. But you got here before we did. If you're planning to become a hero. Why don't you seek a city called Sumiko City. Every few years the Hero Ascension is held there."
"I'll think about it."
"Well, I should get going. Names Basch. Maybe we might meet again," said Basch as he leave Shio and rejoins the others.
Amy on the other hand seems to be done repairing the village. The Heroes begins to leave the village and heads for Sumiko City.
As Basch makes it back to the others. The others questions him.
"Basch, you really think that he has the potential to become one of us," said Iona.
"He's an interesting one but he still needs more training."
"Maybe the trials might help him. If he plans on going to Sumiko City. Besides what do you like about him anyway. He's just an adventurer," said Yagura.
"It's hard to say, but his aura tells something about him. When I look at him, I see a dark aura around him."
"Well let's get going before we all get into big trouble," said Amy as she somewhat seems concerned.
Yagura sighed, "Let's go, I'm tired of being here anyway."
The Heroes head off to Sumiko to see the Hero Ascension. What will the trials hold and be?
