A new day begins. The two begins their training. To which Hide begins to learn how to survive, fight, using his power, and lastly getting back into the real world.
Two years passed. Hide now 15 years old.
"Hide, before you set off on your journey to find your friends. Be careful on the road for you still possess the God's Eyes. Along with that try not to put your name out there as much. I suggest a different name on the road while you're at it."
As Izumi who seems to be standing on top of a rock looking at Hide who seems to breaking down some rocks.
"I'll take that into consideration." As Hide smiles her.
Izumi somewhat smiles back at him.
As Hide begins to take his leave from his Master's training. Izumi gives him some last words of wisdom and encouragement.
Hide takes whole heartedly of what his Master said to him and etch it into his heart.
A new day begins. Dawn rises.
Hide seems to have waken up early in the morning and packed up his stuff for the journey. As Hide begins to leave the small hut. He sees his teacher leaning against the door.
"May the Gods watches over you and your journey. I can't do much but did the best I could train you."
"Master, you train me enough. Besides, I'm glad that you were my Master."
"Right? Anyway, maybe we might meet again."
Hide walks up to her and hugs her. Izumi somewhat surprised hugs him back and someone was quite saddened for him to leave.
Hide walks out of the small hut. As Hide was on the outskirts and on the dirt road. He waves back at Izumi and said his goodbyes. Izumi waves back at him and watches as he walks farther into the distance.
She thinks to herself, "Be safe Hide. I have trained you enough to the point of which you have surpassed me. I'm glad that I was able to be your Master and have you as my disciple."
Izumi soon starts to leave the small hut and continue to a different path. Seems that she too is going on a different journey. Hoping to one day see her disciple again.
Some days goes by.
Hide was seen sitting next to a bonfire and seems to be quite dirty from his travels. He add more woods to the fire and looks at it.
He soon starts to lied on his back and groaned.
"Tomorrow we reach Drogen. Hopefully they are there. Hopefully these two years weren't so hard on them. Maybe...Maybe..."
Hide gets back up and reach for his bag. He takes out a pink ribbon out of his bag and holds it tightly.
"After all, I did held this to make sure I find you guys while wearing this ribbon. More to say to help all of us to find each other if we were to forgot each other."
Hide puts away the pink ribbon and soon starts to groan and sigh.
The sound of the bonfire could be heard along with some night critters could be heard. Hide starts to lay on his bed roll and closed his eyes.
A new day begins.
The sound of birds chirping could be heard. Hide wakes up and wipes his eyes. He noticed that the bonfire was dead. He gets up and prepares to leave for Drogen. It seems that his left eye mirror to look like his right. Hiding the God's Eyes.
As he was cleaning up his camp. A caravan goes by him. Hide noticed them and starts to chased after them hitching for a ride.
"Hey wait up! Are you guys heading to Drogen!" As Hide goes up to a carriage and walks along with it.
"An adventurer ehhh. Quite odd to see a young adventurer like you. As for you question, yes we are heading to Drogen."
"Can I ride with you guys to Drogen?" Hide questions the merchant controlling the carriage.
The merchant somewhat hesitant answers back, "How about 2000 kez and you can catch a ride with us?"
"2000 kez? Do you know how much that cost to get?" Hide somewhat surprised about the price.
"Well kid, either you pay or walk by foot. So get lost."
"Darn it. I guess I can just follow you guys by foot." As Hide somewhat bummed.
"Hey kid, how about hitching a ride with me."
Hide looks ahead to see a merchant who was controlling a carriage. Hide goes up to the carriage.
"Come on sit next to me. Drogen going to be a while till we reach there."
Hide climbs up onto the seats and sit next to the merchant.
"Thanks, how much?" Hide questions the merchant.
"No need to pay me. Just helping a lad out here." The merchant smiles at him.
The merchant seems to be around his mid-fifties and seems to have a small cut to his left cheek and somewhat a unique tattoo on his right cheek.
"Names Brenant. What's yours lad?"
"Cyrus."
"Cyrus ehhh. Haven't heard of such names before?" As Brenant somewhat tries to recollect some names.
"Well I'm not famous enough to be known as an adventurer yet?"
"So a fledgling in the work. So what made you decided to be an adventurer? Is it fame...power...or riches?"
Hide didn't know how to answer him.
"Not the one who say ehhh. No matter, I believe that you became an adventurer for something. But tell me, why became an adventurer at such a young age?"
"Well, my parents were killed and I was taken in by an adventurer."
"Sorry for your lost lad."
"It's fine."
"Anyhow, you grew up to be following the steps of the one who raised you."
"Right."
"So will this be your first time in Drogen?"
Hide nods at him.
"Well, it ain't the prettiest but it's livelier than any. More to say that a lot of nobles are there along with many guilds. I will say that Drogen is a place for adventurers like you."
"When we get there, seek for a nearby inn called Hallows Inn. More to say that it's an adventurer guild. When you get there speak with Lisette. She'll help you on the right path. Along with that tell her that I sent you."
"Well do."
"Tell me lad. Noticing that you are an adventurer, I believe that you will be up there with them famous adventurers. So how about it? Promise me that you will become someone who I can brag about." As Brenant smiles at him.
Hide nods at him and smiles as well.
Some hours passed and it seems to be the afternoon.
The caravan makes it to Drogen which seems to be quite a huge city and housing. He was quite amazed and it somewhat was breathtaking.
Hide was dropped off at the gate entrance and wave goodbye to Brenant. He starts to search for Hallows Inn.
Hide makes it to Hallows Inn. It seems to be a two story house next to some other houses and stores nearby. He heads inside.
Rowdy noises could be heard and sounds of people talking and music playing could be heard. Hide noticed that there were many adventurers in there ranging from young to old.
Hide goes up to counter and noticed a woman around her mid-twenties and somewhat pretty.
"A new adventurer. And quite a charming one too."
"You must be Lisette."
"Indeed, it seems that someone must have told you about me."
"Your friend Brenant sent me here."
"Brenant, that old man never cease to amazed me with the adventurers he sent to me."
"I guess you need help around Drogen here don't you?"
Hide nods.
"Since you are a friend of Brenant. I have reserved a room for you. Along with that how about registering yourself onto the ledger."
Lisette gives Hide a pen and a book to sign on.
Hide signs his name onto the ledger. Which he wrote, 'Cyrus Obun'.
"Cyrus, quite an odd name. Anyhow, how about going to that mission board over there and take on some quest. More to say easy quest around the city."
Hide looks at the mission board of where Lisette points. He heads up to the boards and noticed that there were tons of missions posted on it. He looks at it and picks out one of the mission randomly.
He goes back up to Lisette and shows it to her. Lisette grabs it and looks to what it was.
She somewhat scratches her head and looks at Hide.
"Cyrus, this mission is a bit above your rank. I suggest that you take on another mission that is among your rank." As Lisette hands back the note.
"So what is my rank?" Hide questions her.
Some adventurers near him laughs at him and answers him.
"Bronze newbie. You should just find another mission that is in your rank newbie. How about a mission that is like sweeping the floors or gathering some herbs."
Hide shrugs him off and looks at Lisette.
"I'll take this mission." As Hide didn't seem to care or fazed at all.
"Well, since you want to take it. I have no way to stop you and since this mission is quite high above your rank. I'm not allowed for low rankers to take them. But if you seem determined enough to take this mission. Then I have no intentions on stopping you."
The adventurers laughs at Hide.
"So what am I doing for this mission?"
"It's a hunting mission. More to say hunting a beast in the Forbidden Forest. There are rumors of this beast in the Forbidden Forest and killing tons of travelers and residents who went there. It seems to have been terrorizing the town."
"This is a death wish. How about abandoning this quest and do other weaker missions." As one of the adventurers breaks in onto the conversation.
"Very well, I'll be back. Where is the Forbidden Forest?"
"Outside of the city gates. It should be not far from the city. But are you certain about doing this mission?"
"I'm sure of it. The pay is quite good along with ending the beast whose been killing countless others."
"Alright then." As Lisette somewhat didn't seem to believe in Hide.
Hide soon leaves the inn and heads for the Forbidden Forest outside of the city.
Some minutes passed.
Hide made it to the Forbidden Forest. It was quite foggy when he got there. Hide wander into the foggy forest in search of the beast.
