Godslayer had told Alex how dangerous a situation it was for both him and Midnight. Because of how long it would take for Alex to reach the Immortal Transcendent realm, he needed to save up as much energy as he could.
So, unless Alex absolutely needed his help, he was not to disturb him.
Alex found the situation with Death fulfilling that requirement. If not to help him fight, Godslayer would have to wake up just to give him advice on what he could do with Death.
However, before things reached that point, Alex had two more things left to do.
First, he had yet to fully drain her Divine Sea. She had fought many beasts and drained a lot, but the beasts had never been enough. He always ran out of beasts. But soon, that wouldn't be an issue.
He would finally reach a point where he could see whether or not the things that were meant to be floating in Death's Divine Sea were, in fact, at the bottom of that sea.
