That evening, everything seemed peaceful at Yu Mansion. The sky outside was painted a soft purple, and golden lights filled the house. But inside Ruo Lan's heart, a storm was quietly brewing.
She sat in her room, holding the red marriage certificate like it was a treasure map.
Her eyes sparkled, but not with love.
"This paper… this is my golden ticket," she whispered to herself. "No prenup, no conditions. Once Yu Lin dies, all of this—" she looked around at the fancy walls and glittering lights, "—will belong to me."
With that thought, she smiled sweetly and walked out of the room, heading toward Yu Lin.
