The Sleep divine ability was blocked by an Aegis Shield. This could only happen if Black Axe was an undying godclad who could keep his shield always activated or was using a divine artifact and had activated it to prepare for an attack.
Either reason was not a good thing for White Claok. When the attack was blocked, his face paled in fear.
Black Axe sensed the attack through the activation of his shield, but he continued to smile as if he didn't notice anything.
Then he asked playfully, "How did you know? Was it through his behavior, or does it have something to do with your pathway?"
White Cloak's fear began to increase rapidly after he determined that he was in danger. The Sleep divine ability is the main attacking divine ability that he has. If it doesn't work, it means his other divine abilities are unlikely to work.
He decided to plead for his life, so he said, "Let me go. I will give you anything you want."
