Watching Fang Heng and Charlene leave, Benny and an elderly man with graying beard emerged from a secret compartment behind them.
They had witnessed the entire conversation between Augustine and Fang Heng.
Augustine bowed respectfully to the newcomers and said, "Mr. President."

Jasper, the current Vice President of the Federation's Western region, was already in his seventies. His hair was white, and his heavy eyelids drooped down, giving the impression that he could barely see.
