Dream?
Did he dream?
It seemed like it.
But he couldn't recall anything from the dream at all.
In Norton Jarvis's stream of thought, he just heard Price say again, "You kept calling my name, and you were even calling 'baby' and 'Price'..."
Mimicking Norton Jarvis's tone, Price said it in a way that gave Norton Jarvis goosebumps all over his body, accompanied by an involuntary hiss, as he subconsciously rubbed his arms to get rid of the chills.
"Mr. Dashing Jarvis, surely you didn't do something to me in the dream, did you?"
Norton Jarvis didn't believe for a second that he would shout things like 'baby Price' in his dreams, and he'd rather think that Price was making it all up. Just as he was about to argue back, he saw Price suddenly lean closer, making him shrink back reflexively.
Taking Norton Jarvis's reaction as guilt, Price once again brought her head close to his face, arching her pretty eyebrows and wickedly asking, "A stupid dream?"
