"You're all leaving?" Bright sunlight streamed through the floor-to-ceiling window, illuminating the woman's golden-brown curls as Vigina lifted her head, gazing at the figures in front of her, "Funding hasn't been approved from above, but I can find a way elsewhere."
"Director," a slightly lean young man looked at Vigina, speaking softly, "I really want to assist in your investigation, but..."
He fell silent for a moment.
"This matter is too widespread," a woman who looked to be in her thirties, wearing glasses like a clerk, held the files in her hands, "it should be a battle between those Ains people, we shouldn't get involved, besides,"
She paused, "the methods of the people from Ains aren't very clean, you can't compete with them."
Upon hearing this, Vigina was taken aback, then lowered her head, hoarsely asking, "They contacted your family?"
