Soon, within a cold and dim corridor on one side, the Undead High Priest slowly emerged.
The High Priest radiated divine brilliance that seemed to pierce the heavens. He walked directly to the throne, leaning the golden bone staff in his hand against one side of the chair.
As his gaze swept across the undead before him, a dark, soul-piercing chill quickly spread throughout the hall.
Every undead froze instantly. Even though they were already undead, an innate fear of death still arose from the depths of their souls.
This was the power of the God of Death—targeting the deepest fears rooted in one's soul.
All officials of the Undead immediately bowed, saying, "Great Eternal God."
"How did Isolde die?" the Undead God asked solemnly.
