Her hands tugged at the hem of his shirt, and he sat up only long enough to pull it over his head and toss it to the floor. The moment his skin met hers again, Alix released a breath she hadn't realized she was holding.
"You are…sure, right? I won't stop even if you ask me later."
He was lying. He would definitely stop and thought he would probably leave the room and sleep in the vineyard fields if she were to realize her true wishes in the middle of doing it.
She looked up at him. "Actually, compared to marrying you, I'm more sure about tonight."
His brow slightly twitched and wasn't sure if he should feel happy or conflicted with her answer, but relief and desire flickered in his expression at once and he nodded softly.
