When Jin's sleep drifted away, he saw that it was still dark outside. He checked the time and realized that it was only five in the morning. They still had a good ninety minutes till they would have to head back for the cruise.
"Morning."
His eyes widened as he glanced at his side seeing a wide awake Alix already up and sitting on the bed. He got up too, scooting closer to her.
"You are awake?"
"Yes."
He paused. "Was it difficult getting sleep last night?"
She arched her brow. "What do you think?"
His brow twitched in return by her implication. "I mean if it hurts because of…"
She shrugged. "It's okay now. It's fine actually. I assumed you would go full on beast mode, but you didn't."
"..."
"I'm not a monster."
"Yes, you are a cute bunny."
His gaze glared at her with indignation. "I was being thoughtful to my wife."
"So you wanted to do more?"
He coughed. "No, it was just right."
