The silence that ensued after Ophelia's next-door neighbor said his last statement was long and the tension that took over the air Ophelia was breathing was so thick; Ophelia could have cut it with a knife if she had one but she had been stripped of all her possessions before she was strapped to the table in the lab and whatever they had missed earlier, they had certainly not missed when they stripped her in order to get her in the straitjacket.
