For instance, he visited the fierce Crocodile Tribe, which reared many crocodiles, was fierce and warlike, and particularly liked to eat raw meat.
There was also the Bamboo Rat Tribe, whose people liked to live in underground holes, were particularly timid, and would retreat into the holes at the slightest disturbance.
