The Mantis God howled at the sky once more, seeing its tribe on the brink of annihilation, it was clearly enraged to the extreme.
In fact, most mantises do not have vocal cords; they can only make sounds by rubbing their wings.
The Mantis God is different; through evolution, it has already learned to produce simple howling sounds.
If it continues to evolve, one day it might be able to make real sounds like other animals.
Unfortunately, it has encountered the Divine Vine, and whether it can survive today is uncertain.
"Swish, swish, swish..."
Vines weaved together to form a large circular net, trapping the Mantis God inside.
These vines were as translucent as jade, the vast divine power turned into a green protective layer, preventing the Mantis God from cutting through the vines as it had before.
The vine net slowly contracted, immobilizing the Mantis God, and if this continued, the Mantis God would undoubtedly die.
