Cherreads

Chapter 222 - Luffy and Robin's Date Part 3

"Wow! Is that the Rollercoaster? Robin, let's ride it!"

Luffy cheerfully raised both hands and shouted, his eyes shining when he saw the ride.

Robin smiled and nodded. The ride was fun at the beginning, but Luffy quickly got bored.

Not because it wasn't good. It was almost perfect ride but Luffy had gone through much more extreme situations.

So, the ride didn't give him much adrenaline rush.

After that, they went to an ice cream shop and ate a massive ten-foot-tall ice cream.

It was mostly Luffy eating the ice cream. He wanted to have more, but his teeth started getting cold.

So, he took a cup of warm milk and it was healed.

After that, they went to other rides. Surprisingly, both of them got bored pretty quickly.

It turned out both had their own preferences, and an amusement park was not among them.

Because of this, both laughed at each other's realization and left the amusement park for other fun adventures.

Or, rather, a torture for Luffy.

Because what came next was shopping. Luffy didn't realize it at first. But Robin was fully relieved of the life she wanted as a teenager.

So she took him to different clothing stores. Not only did she choose many clothes for herself, but she also made him choose different clothes.

"So, how is this?"

Luffy asked while showing off his new clothes. He wore a classic bicorne hat, coupled with a leather jacket, a low-cut shirt with Jolly Roger printed on it. He wore simple pants with fancy shoes.

"Nice!"

Robin gave a compliment before Luffy went back to change.

This time, Luffy wore a black suit over his red shirt and black pants. He also wore leather shoes and a massive coat over his body.

"Now?"

"Wow!"

Robin was shocked, especially when Luffy gave her a serious look and asked.

Luffy laughed and went back to change his clothes.

This time, he wore a more casual look with black trousers, a grey hoodie, and white sneakers.

"Good, but once more!"

Robin wasn't satisfied with this look, but she still showed some appreciation.

Luffy went back and changed into new clothes. This time, he wore a black hat with a long blue coat and a black shirt. He also wore tight black pants and leather shoes.

When he came out, Robin looked a bit confused. It was a good look, but she felt like something was wrong with this outfit.

Then she realized Luffy wasn't wearing his classic red shirt, which suited him the best.

So, she changed his shirt and pants. Well, it got heated quite quickly when they were alone in the changing room.

But they didn't do much.

Except for serious kissing, they quickly left the shop with a large number of clothes.

All of which Luffy had to hold while Robin was busy shopping for more.

For the first time in his life, Luffy was afraid of something other than his grandfather.

Not including making Robin sad.

That was different. There was one time when he made Robin sad simply because he didn't like her being too touchy with him.

After that, he became more accepting of her advances.

And since he was a dunce, Robin had no choice but to take the step first. Otherwise, they might never make progress.

That being said, there was one thing they made sure of.

They wouldn't have a baby or marry each other until they achieved their dreams.

Dreams meant a lot to both of them. So, it was much more acceptable.

While holding several meters-tall bags, Luffy kept begging Robin to return to the ship.

He would rather fight Kaido for several days than hold these bags. If she weren't his girlfriend, he would've thrown them away.

"Alright, let's go back to the ship."

Fortunately, Robin knew restraint. It wasn't because she was afraid that Luffy would leave her.

After several weeks, they had become dependent on each other. Not on a physical level but more on a spiritual level.

Luffy used to sleep with other guys on the ship, but after he started sleeping with Robin, he forgot about them.

He felt more comfortable sleeping with her. Even if someone asked him to go back to sleeping with other guys, he might not agree.

The reason behind her restraint was simple. She didn't want Luffy to hate going shopping with her.

She was a woman and someone who missed everything that every little girl goes through.

In order to relive those moments, she needed Luffy to agree with all of her conditions. That wouldn't be possible if Luffy started hating going out with her.

So, out of consideration for her future shopping, she decided to spare Luffy and return to the ship.

But while going there, they didn't forget to travel around the tourist area, where they both had a lot of fun.

Luffy found a lot of things to eat while Robin didn't mind feeding him. While doing that, they were disturbed by a few bounty hunters.

But Luffy took care of them before they could even make a move.

While Luffy and Robin were enjoying themselves, Nami, Kemi, and Vivi, who joined later, were stuck in a problem.

They were surrounded by several bounty hunters and slave hunters.

After all, Nami and Vivi were quite beautiful, so they could be sold for several million berries.

Not to mention Kemi, who was a mermaid.

She was cowering in fear behind Nami while those hunters had surrounded them.

Several of them were on the ground holding rifles and swords, while some were riding flying fish attached to a bubble.

"Vivi, I will leave them to you."

Out of trust for Vivi and care for Kemi, Nami simply decided to give this battle to Vivi.

She could see just how happy Kemi was when they were going to the Amusement Park and how terrified she was now.

This contrast made her remember those days in Cocoyashi village.

Despite having a burden, she always felt free whenever she was on the sea. And her fear only grew stronger whenever she was in the village.

That same contrast made her feel empathy towards Kemi.

"Hey, are we going to attack them? They are from the Straw Hat Pirates. They are one of the Emperors of the sea." One of the hunters made a valid argument, but it was more out of fear.

"Are you kidding me? We can simply sell them at the auction. After that, if the Straw Hats find out, they will cause trouble in the auction, not to us."

Hearing that, Vivi snorted. She was going to make them pay for their actions.

"You scums, Die under my sand!"

She raised both of her hands. The ground underneath began to change as it turned into sand and flew above.

"Shoot! Shoot! Shoot!"

That movement frightened those hunters, as one of them shouted and started shooting at Vivi.

But how could those bullets hurt someone like her? They easily passed through her.

Of course, Vivi wasn't going to let them go so easily. The sand was gathering around her, and it was growing bigger and bigger.

By the time those hunters reacted, it had turned into a massive sand tsunami.

[Sand Waterfall Imperial Funeral]

Those who were on the ground tried to scramble away from the sand, but they were quickly caught by it.

As Vivi slammed her hand on the ground, those sands began to strangle every single hunter on the ground, leaving their bodies twisted and crushed.

"Where do you think you are going?"

Vivi easily noticed those hunters on the flying fish trying to run away. She raised her hand, and several large chunks of sand condensed above those hunters.

[Sand Hail]

This move caused a hailstorm of sand. Massive round chunks of sand fell from the sky and struck those hunters.

Because these sand hails were controlled by her, as soon as they touched those hunters, she immediately began to control them simultaneously.

The small amount of sand began sucking water from their bodies, leaving them with dried corpse.

Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud!

Dead bodies fell from the sky, making everyone around them horrified. Those hunters who were eyeing them didn't even realize the power gap between them.

Vivi might be a kind person, but she had slowly become a true pirate. Most importantly, she wouldn't let anyone mess with her crew.

She gave her eyes to several journalists who were waiting for breaking news since the start of this battle and said.

"You don't mess with the Straw Hats."

"Let's go, Nami, Kemi!"

Vivi returned to her cheerful attitude and waved toward Nami and Vivi.

"That was quite cruel. Dried corpses falling from the sky." Nami chuckled when she walked closer.

Behind her, Kemi was a bit frightened. It seemed like Vivi was frightened even more than those hunters.

"I don't want those ignorant people to make any mistake. Sometimes mistakes can be costly."
