We left the slave store with our new slaves in tow and the slave store was at least kind enough to give our new slaves some simple tunics to cover up instead of letting them walk around almost naked.
I also decided now was the best time to ask Jenna about her money.
"Jenna? Could I ask where did you get so much money from?"
She turned to give me a surprised look, "Eh? Is it really a lot?"
"Yes? Haven't you needed to spend money on inns so far? I'm sure you haven't needed to spend even a silver coin just to stay in a room right? You just spent three Gold coins, you know?"
"Umm… I mean… I've only been trying to stay at what looked like cheap places so I thought their prices were really low to begin with? Like… Isn't one small Gold coin equivalent to like… A thousand dollars? Everything is pretty cheap here."
I grimaced at her.
