Faced with the consuming flames, the orc soldiers driven by panic scrambled chaotically within the camp, turning the entire base into utter pandemonium.
The small tribes stationed on the perimeter managed to escape with their lives once they fled the camp. However, the orcs trapped deep in the central region of the camp suffered the worst fate, surrounded by fire on all sides, turning into roasted flesh in mere moments.
Even the royal and noble families camped by the lakeside were not spared. Attempting to collect water to extinguish the fire proved nothing more than a desperate dream, as reality left them no time to act. Forced by the encroaching flames, they fled toward the lakeshore.
Yet the overwhelming numbers of fleeing orcs resulted in bodies piling upon bodies, with those in front being mercilessly pushed into the water.
