Many things hidden beneath the surface elude me. As a dagger or puppet on strings, perhaps I can barely manage, but in the end, I'm unlikely to achieve anything grand."
Little Ai wrinkled her nose suspiciously and asked, "Did the Master really say that?"
"Not exactly."
"I knew it! Cole, you're just overthink—"

Little Ai was at a loss for words. Considering her own impression of the Master's personality, she felt there was at least an eighty to ninety percent chance Cole was telling the truth.
