Royals were a gifted people. The King of Royals had to be the strongest of them all. The Royal Guard was where the most powerful thrived. The Royal Guardians made certain gifted Royals throughout the Royal Kingdom did not abuse their gifts. Making The Royal Guard was Reyna's goal. Reyna was the first female lighter in generations. Lighters were often unable to control their gifts, known for hurting those around them when they exploded with emotion. Most lighters were cold, emotionless and clinical. She is a lighter who will take on boys older than herself as long as she can be on the Royal Guard. Reyna has been shunned, undermined and neglected yet her spirit is blazing. Her gift is rare and feared yet she's unafraid and proud. Being female on a male dominated Guard meant she fought harder to keep up. To make things worse the future king of Royal is her training partner, strong, powerful, absolutely gorgeous and her best friend. Or at least he was. The tenuous training, immensely growing power and rigorous studies hardly left any time for Eric to be a child. His abilities manifested too soon, making it impossible for him to normally relate with others. Eric knew she was going be a problem for him, more than a problem. He wanted to protect her yet she was more than willing to fight him. She bit him in physical and magical combat so he let his true power loose just to see her surrender. "You don't believe that," I murmured as I brought my lips closer to her mouth she was glowing, trembling as I grabbed her pony tail and let it loose. she gasped at my audacity giving me the chance I needed. I claimed her mouth pushing her against the wall. Arms tightened around my shoulders as I deepened the kiss. I placed a hand on her bare waist and a blast of heat consumed me. she moaned deep in her throat as I brought her hips closer to mine. "You're mine Reina, only mine", I drawled against her neck.
