(Jiraiya's POV)
I wake up for the third time though this time I seem to be in a cell
Damn, now how can I get out of here. Looking around the bed I am lying on is pretty comfortable and the cell well-lit and spacious
I get up from the bed and look outside the cell where I see a blond kid with a two pig tails staring at me
"Hey little girl, can you tell me where I am?" I ask
She looks at me before she kicks back and hits the door behind her
The door immediately opens and a mature woman with purple hair comes in, what a beauty, I think.
"Hey beautiful how about we leave this place and go somewhere private"
She looks at me and then gently chuckles, while the brat behind her starts glaring at me.
"And where would that be kid?" she asks.
"How about a nice restur… Kid?" I quick look down realizing why she said that. I currently look like I did when I was 6, right after the academy.
"I'm sorry you are a little too young for me. But I am interested in getting to know you more. How about you tell me who you are and how you entered the Rukongai without being guided by a Shinigami" She asks
"I am Jiraiya the great toad sage of Mount Myoboku" I introduce myself while doing my pose to impress her.
Snort "Ha Ha Ha" the blond brat starts laughing at me before falling down clutching her stomach
The beauty looks at me with a slight smirk on her face before turning around and hitting the girl with her sword sheath
"It's not nice to laugh at him, Hiyori" she says
She then turns around and looks at me. "My name is Kirio Hikifune, Captian of the 12th Division of the Gotei 13, this is my Lieutenant Hiyori Sarugaki. Can you answer the rest of my questions kid?"
I look at both of them before sitting down on the floor. "I'm not sure, I was investigating someone when I was discovered and killed by him. Next thing I know I am at that village."
Kirio look at me like she is trying to determine if I am lying or not. Suddenly my stomach growls really loud for almost a minute.
"Hiyori, go get him something to eat, we are going to be here a while I think and I don't want to be distracted by his stomach." she says
Hiyori leaves and Kirio looks at me.
"I can tell you have reiatsu and can work towards becoming a shinigami, but I can not determine if you are a security risk and were sent here to cause trouble." she states
"What is reiatsu?" I ask
She looks at me and says "Reiatsu is spiritual pressure, the physical force/pressure that a person's Reiryoku creates when released. According to the report my 8th seat submitted, a hollow tried to eat you right before he got there. The pressure you should have felt when it was coming at you is reiatsu."
So that creature was a hollow I think with a pondering look on my face
"I can see that is something new for you so I'm pretty sure you are a new soul and have no knowledge of the basics" she says
"You act older then your age reflects though." She ponders out loud
"I was 54 years old when I died in Amegakure." I reply
She looks at me stunned and asks "Where is Amegakure? As far as I know there is no place in the human world with that name."
"It's a small country between the Lands of Fire, Earth, and Wind. Seriously most of the battles between those three great villages occur, so it usually is a quite well know area." I reply
"I never heard of those locations" she states
"How? They are the largest countries in the world." I ask shocked.
She looks at me closer and then mumbles "Interesting, your soul fluctuates at a slightly different frequency then everyone else, but I don't sense any issues that might cause your soul to become unstable. This gives me some ideas for a project I'm working on."
"Project? I'm not going to be a lab rat for you." I quickly state while backing away.
She chuckles "I'm not going to use you as a lab rat. I'm almost positive you are not a threat to the soul society. Though it seems you are not from any know place. Not from Gense, Hueco Mundo, or here. We'll have to investigate to see if there is some unknown dimension that has never been found but if that were the case the balance of souls would be out of line. You are an oddity."
Suddenly the door is kicked open and Hiyori walks in with a tray, on which, a bowl of rice and a glass of water is.
She places it in front of the bars and stares at me, while stating "Brat here is your food"
Kirio stands up and turns around to leave "Hiyori, lets let him be, we need to report this to the captain commander"
They both leave, but not before I rush forward and grab the bowl and start scarfing down the rice.
The door shuts and I'm now alone to try and figure out what has happened and all the new information I have discovered
