Chapter 180 - All About Magic Circles

"I need to go to my next class now, which is rather annoying because of my current state… But I guess it's a little better since little Alice is considerate enough not to add all of the classes together in one session. At least with my new schedule… I only have to teach 4 Classes together." Mio sighed as she looked at her legs for a split second before turning around with her wheelchair and rolling away to her next class as soon as possible because she didn't want to be late.

Lucky for her, her next class is going to be rather simple, as it was going to be Magic Theory since she wouldn't need to move much, but just as she thought that she would be luckier, she ran into the person that she doesn't want to see right now. Alice was now in front of her looking down at her with a clear worried face etched on her face because of how she looked in the wheelchair.

"I'm much more stronger and resilient than you think, I can handle this much, so you don't have to worry about me, little Alice," Mio said before Alice could even get a word in, as she simply then left by rolling past them without too much care, but as she did pass by her, she raised her arm and patted Alice's shaking hand before finally leaving with Somi in her lap.

It was awkward for the two of them to meet, especially when Alice was looking at her, or rather, it was because of what Alice did to her last night that made it so awkward for the two of them. The kiss that she gave to her was simply too shocking for her because as long as she could remember no one has ever kissed her like that apart from her parents which already a milenia has passed since they died.

"I'll find you later, little Alice. I still have some questions about what I told you earlier, so be at ease…for now." With that, Mio said goodbye as she just continued until they were out of Alice's view.

Once Alice heard those words from Mio, she sighed in relief and just walked along without looking back to where Mio went off because she knew that she shouldn't pry any further at her. If she really wanted to advance her relationship with her, especially when he did such a bold thing to her that no one still has yet to know because she's not planning on telling anyone just yet.

"So this is my next class… It's still in the same venue as where I held my large class for every section… But, I guess this is really better." Mio sighed as she simply walked inside, and as soon as she got inside, every single student shut their mouth off almost instantly, afraid of getting scolded by her.

But soon, that silence turned into silent gasps as they all saw Mio and her current state, which was a great shock to all of them. Before any of them could respond, Mio simply grabbed a mic from one of the school staff, She did this since she was still at the entrance, which is at the very back of the stadium, which makes it hard for anyone to hear her voice.

"I'll only say this once: don't try to pry and ask about my condition. I'm all right, secondly… For all of the Class Presidents, or rather anyone who is responsible enough to take this responsibility… I want each member of your class to take the attendance and papers." Mio said in an indifferent tone before rolling to the stage, but of course, stopping at the stairs since she couldn't go up, and simply rolled right in the middle

"Now, it doesn't matter if I'm in a wheelchair or not. I still expect all of you to listen to me very carefully since you're all in my first class after the changes in the schedule that I know all of you have seen already. Let's get started, then, shall we?" Mio asked as she simply looked at everyone.

"As a start, can someone tell me what we last discussed in our previous lessons?" Mio simply asked while playing with Somi's hair. She was quietly and obediently sitting on her lap with headphones on and secretly watching some cartoons.

Shortly after, dozens of arms were raised, and Mio just called them one by one and asked them. She was glad to hear that everyone who raised their hands was able to answer her with proper answers. That was enough to make her happy, as she got confirmation that her students were listening to her lesson, since she felt like she didn't have the energy to scold the students if they weren't listening to her lessons.

"Great, it seems that all of you still know a lot from our previous lessons. With that, I'll continue with what we left off. But oh yes, the deadline of your research is just today. You need to pass it to your Class Presidents, and they will have to give it to me. If you're still not done, you have until the end of the day." Mio simply said before taking out her laptop from her bag and connecting it to the large screen.

"Since we have already discussed the most fundamental of Magic Theory, we are now going to seriously learn about Magic Circles, and this is the only thing that we are going to discuss for the rest of the year," Mio said as she simply went online and looked for some Magic Circles pictures.

"Now, I'm sure that everyone knows how a Magic Circle works by this point, right? But if you don't, it's alright. Because I'm going to explain it to all of you regardless. Now we know by now that Magic Circles is primarily used by Magicians, but among all types of magicians, who uses them the most, and who is the one who should actually learn Magic Circles?" Mio asked a simple question at the end.

This made every student ask one another as they all work together, since their Teacher is clearly not against it and she is even encouraging it, to the point that they can even use their phones and look it up on the internet for the answer.

But it wasn't just them because some Teachers who are at breaktime have also decided to join the conversation and asked one another to have an answer, but of course they're not going to answer that simply because even if they have their own, they won't say it because they want to students to learn for themselves.

Seeing this, Mio simply stared at everyone with a light smile on her face as she was enjoying watching everyone racking their brain to think of a good answer because this is new to the educational system that she will soon pass to everyone around the world. It didn't take long for someone to raise their hands, and looking at the student who raised their hand, Mio found them familiar.

"Go on, you can answer. But state your name first and your section before answering. My apologies as it's going to be hard for me to memorize all of your names and faces." Mio said with a smile while looking at the seemingly confident but nervous student at the same time, which made her chuckle a little.
