The surrounding area was filled with an extremely vast swamp.
This was the most special region of the Lancaster Territory, also one of the few that bordered other territories.
During the historic second expansion of Lancaster, Kael, who had obtained the Map Editor, had all the swamps that covered the entire Lancaster repositioned to this location, lining the outermost edge of the swamp with a significant number of mountains and rivers.
Over the years, copious rainfall had accumulated at the foot of the mountains, eventually feeding into the great marsh, nurturing its divine presence and directly creating a batch of natural poisonous gas barriers and a large number of poisonous serpents and insect-like monsters.
