There were many energies intertwined within the body of the Rank Four Core Evolver—power of laws, bloodline power, World Essence, and many others.
As the thorn filled vines pierced the body, Evan focused specifically on the energy of law within the corpse. The faint markings of the Rune of Absorption engraved on the vines glowed subtly as they began absorbing the law power from the body.
The process was extremely slow—so slow that Evan estimated it would take more than fifteen days to absorb all the law power entirely.
However, rather than focusing on the speed of absorption, what drew his attention was the process of transformation—his intent was to convert the law energy into the most fundamental power of the Void Law, the same energy he had come into contact with when he created his Void Law Seal while breaking through to Rank Four.
