Mayhem, with people rushing out of homes, businesses, offices, and daily transports. The scenes of Rex flipping the town on its back. He had found several circles of pure intersections. Thousands upon thousands of people who were now jobless, without family members or complete family destruction, thousands of vehicles between daily drivers, buses, street cars that run on rails and weird Qi and/or magic depending on the location, and fires that roared into the dark sky.
Within thirty minutes of leaving the Aquaduim. This was the sight seen within the current location. Rex knowing that he could greatly weaken the forces by dismantling the civilians was honestly his choice.
Without the proper backing of the civilians who wished for victory, who wished for those people to return home safely and unarmed, for the devastating families who now cannot either support their loved ones or the troops from that section of the planet.
All of these small things just from the massive intersection destruction that was brought upon the people. No one wanted War to enter their homes but it was going to enter Rex's and he wanted to show the power that he held.
He knows all too well of the power that hold. So weakening them now was his best choice at surviving the destruction at the Realms. The screams Rex heard at the intersections. They were not animalistic, not like some foreign alien species, but real human like. That bothered him.
Why? Either these Shadow People had come from places with humans or they evolved into more human like creatures and gained the vocals of it.
In the tunnels, the screams did not reach his ears but the echo from them kept him from pursuing the utter destruction he wished. Every time he got to a point of exit. He would rush out and hope that this one would lead him to another good spot to either destroy the army of the Shadow People or another location that he could use to gather more creatures.
Every time now, another intersection. Another intersection that would be left in ruins. He was nearing the end. He had good hopes that this one would lead somewhere good.
"Ding"
This ding sounded more life-like than normal. It was to the point that even the music with it sounded beautiful.
Rex checked the notification.
"Kill everyone in the left room or the right room. Only one room could be chosen."
Rex could see the room on the right. The one on the left was much harder to see but feeling it was much easier.
"I choose this room." Rex spoke.
"Host has chosen the right room. Does this confirm your choice?"
Y/N
Rex chose the Y button. He was able to just punch threw the seal and door. Twenty noble and elite families all in the same room. Screams of terror and panic flooded the two rooms side by side. The martyr wanted to help but after coming and hearing the screams of death being followed.
The martyr decided to be tucked inside the bed where he could feel the power of safety. The screams echoed inside his ears. The wailing of children affected his Soul.
As for the maids and the family, fear struck on each face and the Soul of each of them trembled nearly to death.
The screaming and wailing eventually just ended. No sudden slow down, no high pitch end, just simply ended. One of the maids wanted to peek out.
The family stopped her. Whoever or whatever was out there could be waiting for the door to be opened up here.
Curiosity is what killed the cat, and she was no different. She needed to see what kind person could bring such people to an end. She slipped through and opened the door. To her surprise, she saw Rex's back. A Shadow Person willing to annihilate their own brothers and sisters.
She got pulled back in and the seal covered up like nothing had even happened. Her eyes seemed hollowed out, her breathing too erotic, what would be her heart beating too fast and hard, even the family felt that she should not have been so overworked.
"What did you see?" The father asked.
Her mind slowly trying to comprehend what was said. Her nervous system, or what should have been was dangerously to the point of killing her.
The other maids and family could not calm her down enough to help her relax. In those few seconds before her nervous system absolutely destroyed her, "One of our own utterly killed and destroyed our families and towns."
The martyr sensing her death came out to give her a stimulate to calm her down. By the time he injected her, it was already too late.
"What happened?" The martyr asked.
They began to explain how she just took a peek outside the door. The simple fact that one Shadow Person utterly killed not only the room beside them but was also responsible for the destruction that came their way.
The martyr also felt that he would died in a similar manner if he too had seen that. In the moment of silence, the stimulate had done its job properly and brought her back calmly.
"What happened?" She asked.
She could not remember the trigger. This was a blessing for the martyr. They all vowed to never all this situation to happen within the confines of this place.
