Chapter 1 - Armies and Dogs

This is a story of gruesome battles, Brutal Tortures, Corruption and the benefits and abilities of having power.

And the devastation caused by war.

The year is 1914, while being shelled from somewhere in the trenches, a soldier could be seen writing in his letter. "This war has been very bad for us. There have been no further advancements.. yet we still risk our lives to attack the other. Which costs the lives of every soldier who have been ordered to sneak and flank the enemy. So far no one has survived except for me," he wrote in his letter.

He remembers how, at one point, there were just 20 professional units among his fellow troops since they were among the most elite. Soon after a whistle was given, *BOOM* a nearby shell roused the soldier up as they were instructed to charge towards the enemy. It served as a warning that they would assault. attack right down to the last man! One soldier was unlucky; as soon as he climbed out of the trench, an artillery shell hit him in his torso, instantly destroying his body and leaving nothing but lots of blood, but that was only one of many artillery shells that were fired as they were charging from their trenches, But the worst was yet to come, as as soon as the soldier and the other soldiers charged, machine guns and sniper rifles from the enemy trenches opened fire, instantly pinning down and killing many of the soldiers. *WHIP* a bullet passed by the soldier, almost killing him, but another soldier behind him was unlucky as the bullet struck him.

Although it wasn't the first time, the smell of smoke, flames, and dead people nearly made him throw up. The German trenches were growing closer to them. they were helped by artillery shells hitting the enemy trenches, which made their assault more successful, then a second batch of soldiers charged from their trench. He looked for a nearby body and stayed there until the second batch reached where he was, then he got up and ran towards the enemy. After a struggle, they were able to attack the enemy trenches, and from this point on, soldiers could be seen killing each other by stabbing and beating each other to death. Gunshots, shell rounds, and soldiers' shouts from both sides could be heard all around. It was chaotic, there were dead bodies everywhere. As he entered the trench, he immediately stabbed an enemy with his bayonet. He then turned around and was about to shoot at another enemy, but that enemy had already put up his hands in surrender. The enemy soldier's face was crying because he could tell that this enemy had been forced to fight. As he lowered his gun, an ally soldier watched him from a distance and decided to fire. The ally soldier then pointed his rifle at the enemy. The ally soldier turned his weapon toward the enemy, fired a round, and then promptly shot the enemy soldier in the head, causing him to fall to the ground with tears in his eyes.
