Having finished researching her new abilities, Charlotte's consciousness returned to the real world.
After she adjusted her clothes and stepped out of the study, she noticed that the expressions of the servants and knights throughout the Count Mansion seemed amiss.
"What happened?" Charlotte asked, a ripple of concern passing through her heart.
"Count, just now..." A still bewildered knight began to recount the strange occurrences they had sensed not long ago.
Hm? Mysterious bloodline pulsations. Charlotte's eyes twitched.
She nodded slightly to comfort the emotionally tense knight before discreetly continuing her inquiries with other members of the house staff. It was only then that she realized almost everyone had just experienced shifts in their bloodline pulsation.
As for Rena, the only other member of the Bloodline in the mansion aside from herself, the impact was much greater. She lay unconscious in the washroom, alone.
