In the heart of the ruined city, chaos tore through the streets as Tomoa and Zora clashed in a high-speed battle.
Zora moved like a blur, launching glowing arrows of light in rapid succession. Each shot screamed through the air, aiming straight for Tomoa's head. In response, Tomoa summoned glowing destructive orbs, each one exploding on contact with Zora's arrows as they launched violently. The blasts lit up the crumbling city with violent flashes.
Still, Tomoa gritted his teeth as he kept blocking and narrowly dodging for his life.
"He's too fast..." he muttered, barely keeping up with Zora's relentless volley.
Zora smirked mid-air. "Y'know, I'm actually jealous of you. Those magic circles you summon… they're pretty neat. Acting like sensors, huh? Detecting attacks a few seconds before they happen? So that's how you can dodge my light based arrows. Tch, lucky bastard"
He fired another round of light arrows as he spoke.
Tomoa rolled his eyes, annoyed. "Would you stop explaining your damn powers to me during a fight?"
Above the city, Sughi—encased in his armored exo-suit—was bombarding Sorata with beams of energy from his shoulder cannons. The sky lit up with every blast, but Sorata, his body radiating uncontrollable purple destructive energy, effortlessly weaved through the attacks at blinding speed while sending huge waves of purple destructive energy of his own.
Tension rose.
"He's... way too fast," Sughi said to himself, eyes narrowing beneath his helmet. "No, it's not that he's speed is one I can't keep up with. It's the fact that he reacts fast and can tank attacks. He's so damn relentless!"
As the fight continued like this sorata heard him and grinned mockingly. "What's the matter? Am I too strong for you?"
Sughi scoffed. "Quite the opposite, actually. I'm just... looking for a better way to keep up."
"Keep up, huh?" Sorata chuckled, then unleashed a massive wave of destructive energy. Sughi barrel-rolled out of the way just in time.
The skies became a chaotic blur as the two fighters darted across the city, launching devastating attacks. Sorata's destructive energy clashed against Sughi's laser beams, leveling buildings and sending shockwaves across the ground.
Then Sughi's robotic armor flared. Energy surged through its limbs as the armor began to change form, plating shifting and expanding.
Sorata paused mid-air, eyebrows "Huh? A new form? You wanna stop me that badly?"
Sughi's voice grew serious. "Yeah, i am eager to beat you! But one thing before i obliterate you. Why are you siding with the villains? How is it that you can just stroll into a city and just reach havoc? It doesn't make sense. Don't you have a heart?!"
Sorata blinked, confused. "...Why does it matter?"
"Because," Sughi replied coldly, "I just want to know why you're so damn spiteful... before I pulverize you. I can see it in you. Your attacks, the way you smile so twistedly, the way you enjoy chaos! It all speaks volumes without you saying a word."
Those sentences from Deo made Sorata grin. "Heh... you remind me of someone I really hate. Someone i really realy hate!"
His eyes lit up with anticipation as Sughi's armor locked into its upgraded form, massive energy cannons forming on its shoulders. "HM? Is that so? Well that's too damn bad." Sughi said to Sorata.
"This might be fun after all," Sorata whispered to himself with a wicked smile after seeing Sughi's new robotic form.
Meanwhile, deep in the forest, Kinto and Rika fought their own battle.
Kinto danced between the trees, agile and unarmed, avoiding her extremely fast wind blades with smooth precision. Each gust she launched tore through thick trunks and splintered the forest behind him as well as tearing up the ground.
But Kinto wasn't fazed. He kept dodging her incredibly fast wind blades that had became faster than before. Kinto leaped high into the air and tossed a handful of explosives.
Rika just smirked. With a massive gust of wind, she detonated the bombs prematurely, blasting apart more trees.
As the smoke settled, Kinto suddenly lunged from the shadows, dagger in hand. Rika reacted fast, blasting him away with a wave of wind and slamming him accross the ground and many other trees.
"You're persistent," she mocked. "But no matter how clever you think you are, you'll never win. Not without an ability."
She laughed cruelly. "A guy like you—with no special abilities—is worthless. Honestly, you shouldn't even be alive." Rika kept blasting huge bursts of wind at kinto, she was taking down trees and tearing up the ground with every blast of wind.
Kinto stood silently. His bangs covered his eyes, his expression unreadable as her words echoed.
Rika scoffed. "Pathetic," she spat, firing another storm of wind that hurled Kinto across the forest.
Kinto strood up from the ground with his arm scratched and injured. Still, he said nothing. Even as Rika laughed and bombarded him again with more wind based attacks that were sending shockwaves through trees and boulders, Kinto didn't react.
With a smug look, she conjured dozens of sharp wind needles and hurled them forward, causing a thunderous blast that shook the woods. "AWN. What's the matter? TO SCARED TO SAY A THING?!"
"Before you die," she sneered, "accept that you're useless and beg like an animal that you are and maybe I'll see if i can let you live."
But from the smoke, a voice emerged.
"I took my time to hear all the bullshit you were saying," Kinto said flatly. "I just didn't feel like responding. Although, from your words, i cant help but to think of how sad you are."
He walked out of the haze, face serious. Rika frowned and prepared another blast—but then her eyes widened.
Explosives. All over her arms, legs, chest—glowing red. "HUH? When did he get the time to do all that?" She thought to herself.
Kinto pointed casually at her. "You move, they explode. You speak, another one blows."
"You—!" she hissed, but as soon as she tried to attack, one of the bombs on her leg went off, followed by another set of explosives. She screamed in pain, blood flying as her body was torn apart. Rika fell down from the tree she was standing on and collapsed on the ground with one of her legs gone and half an arm.
Kinto walked slowly toward her. "Y'know... I hate girls like you. All cocky until they realize the guy they're mocking actually planned everything from the start. Not just that, but people who underestimate others for the fun of it, are just another set ofscumbags waiting to be killed."
He scratched his head, unfazed. "There should be a rule: people who look down on others should die. But unfortunately, i dont have the power to creat such rules. TCH! What a pain in my ass."
He leaned closer. "I may not have powers... but my IQ? Far above any fighter out there. Assassin or soldier—it doesn't matter. Strength is pointless when I control the battlefield. Did you know that average humans only have the capacity to use 10% of their brains? I guess not." Rika on the other hand was on all fours, blood on her face and had a terrified look on her facial expression.
A glowing red symbol shaped like an eye appeared on Kinto's palm, stretching up his arm to his own eye.
He raised his hand toward her face. "You know, id like to laugh at you like the fucking maniac i wanna be. But people like you? You're not worth the laugh, you need pity. I hope your body gets blasted into a billion pieces... so when your allies come searching, they won't even recognize what's left."
The symbol shined bright on Kinto's arm
"Blow up and be gone. You trash!"
Rika's body glowed violently, and she screamed, pleading for her life.
"Please—don't—! I'll do anything you want me too... PLEASE DONT KILL ME!"
"You're just a stupid bitch," Kinto said coldly. "When you get to hell, tell the devil you picked the wrong guy."
The next moment, Rika's body turned into a glowing yellow sphere "PLEASE.....DONT!!!" She screamed before she exploded. Her explosion was so huhe that it wiped out a large portion of the forest.
Even Mori, far off on the other side, while fighting Tenko, noticed the flash "HUH? An explosion?" He thought to himself.
When the smoke cleared, Kinto stood among the ash, surrounded by scorched earth and smoldering trees.
He stared at the devastation silently, looking at the remains of what was once Rika.
"What a waste of potential, and she was pretty too with all the good shapes and package a guy would want". I may not have energy... or special abilities," he murmured. "But at least... I made it this far. That alone is an impressive feat most cant pull off."
He looked up, eyes steady.
"I wonder how Mori and the others are doing…"
His hand dropped to his side as he scanned the burnt forest around him "I really did make a mess here huh."
End of Episode.
