Working in this position, Di Tou found all sorts of problems he hadn't encountered before. Due to the fact that the space he was connecting with was so far away, even if Di Tou had sent his consciousness over, there was still a fairly strong delay in each of his actions. As a result, as he was using the wave method, his 'equal but opposite' counteracting forces often missed!
This was a large problem. With his counter-forces missing, not only was he failing to calm space, as the waves and fluctuations remained tall and towering, he was even making space messier! It was like in the ocean, there was an additional fish flailing and floundering, creating all sorts of splashes and changes.
Although one might detect a hint of a pattern in those splashes, regardless of the intent, the end result was that the water became more and more messy, and the space that Di Tou was attempting to stablise became more and more unstable, to the point that Di Tou could no longer properly connect to it.
