Morning Mischief
Ruby stirred slowly, warmth enveloping her from all sides.
For a moment, she forgot where she was, and simply enjoyed the moment, soaking in the warmth that surrounded her.
The scent of clean cotton, masculine cologne, and something uniquely Alec and Damien wrapped around her like a cocoon.
She sighed softly and snuggled deeper into the heat, burying her face into Damien's chest.
And then realization struck her like a bolt of lightning.
Her eyes snapped open.
She was lying between Alec and Damien.
On the same bed.
Alec's arm was still firmly around her waist in a possessive manner, his hand resting low on her stomach. Damien's body was pressed close against her front, his arm slung lazily over her hip. Their breathing was deep and even, the slow rhythm of sleep.
Ruby froze.
Oh God.
Last night came rushing back,the storm, the bone freezing fear, their comforting offers, her shameful surrender.
Carefully, very carefully, she tried to wriggle free.
