The trio of men followed in the path of the women, eventually coming to the imposing wall that separated the poor powerless humans from their power-having upper class. Although the moat wouldn't have posed much challenge for them, they needed to keep their cover underneath the basking light, and simply chose to take the 'official' way through.
As it turns out, that way was strangely easy, especially for those like Bob. While they had been walking, the powerless lackeys had been staring at him, muttering to each other and bowing in worship constantly, as if they were unworthy of laying their gaze on his blessed body.
For Bob, this kind of treatment wasn't entirely unusual, he had been subject to the same treatment within their home town although it was for a different reason. But while he was used to it, and thought nothing of it, the other two grew deeply uncomfortable with the attention.
Especially Fox, who was used to hiding in the shadows and being forgotten about.
