Thanks to his reincarnation experience, Inala was able to perceive his Soul. It was a sea of starlight swirling around a jet-black solid that seemed inert.
The starlight swirled around the black inertness, appearing like a blackhole that was swallowing a gigantic star. The starlight swirled around the horizontal axis, little by little losing in number while the inert solid grew accordingly in size.
In the vertical axis, bursting out of both ends of the inert solid was a starlight beam. The upper beam expanded and morphed into a bridge with churning waves resembling the sea, connecting with the mind space. The lower beam branched out like the blood vessels and connected to the heart of the body.
The bridge wasn't a bridge in the traditional sense. It was a connection between the body and the mind. And towards each side, the bridge morphed in a way that was best suited for interaction.
