Chapter 367 - Chapter 367: Aloha Oe, Part 3

As the Biblical Sorcerer took Harvard's place, Solomon would stare out and see the souls of the departed in the water. He could hear their voices, watch them crawl from the body and nearly attacked one another. "ARE YOU SERIOUS!? A GODDAMN HOLE!? WE FELL FOR THAT!?" One voice yelled.

"HAD YOU BEEN PAYING ATTENTION, YOU BLOODY TOILET BOWL, MAYBE WE WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN DUPED BY A MIDDLE SCHOOLER!" Another shrieked, prompting the first to try and strangle the second, but failing miserably.

"Well what did you expect us to do?! The kid can't die, since we flayed him down to bone and he was still FINE after that, but also just became the MOON in a few seconds flat. What kind of result were you expecting!?" A Third questioned, causing the second to turn its head halfway.

"I DON'T KNOW, HIT HIS NERVES SO WE DON'T GET BLASTED DOWN TO A BOTTOMLESS PIT!?"

"Well technically, it's-"

"YOU CORRECT ME AND I'M SENDING YOU STRAIGHT TO THE DAMNED GALLOWS!" Such animosity and anger out of its voice was staggering. In the midst of such outcries and panic, such violence and frustration, one would be rested on the eye slits. The same musician they saw, once vibrant and excited at the prospect of meeting the end, now sheltered and murmuring to himself, trying to calm himself, trying to be at ease with his own mentality. Solomon would be a bit surprised by such a switch-up, as he'd try to get closer without getting caught by the humanoids that now roamed the Umibozu as if it was a skeleton.

"Jeez, and out of all the times to wake up, too? Who's the bastard that dragged us into this again?" One questioned, with Solomon keeping his head low as he'd investigate.

"Some clown guy in a mask, that's for sure. Was the first thing almost everyone here saw, actually." Another replied.

"Almost everyone? Who the hell else did the others that didn't see?"

"Apparently, based on everyone having the same memories once we're in this living cage, we got a whole vision of people walking among a desert. Some say they saw a Jungle too off the side. I even heard the runt up on the cerebellum region that there was a whole bundle of clouds and a golden gate."

"You sure those aren't just hallucinations they dreamt up?"

"If it were, we'd not give a damn about it! One of us must've had their life leaked out to the public."

"And being involved with the Clown guy, I imagined...?"

"Aye." Solomon's eyes widened upon hearing such a thing. A contract that ended up sharing one's entire life to others, all to fuel the Umibozu itself and let it rampage as it was? He'd blink rapidly as he'd try to understand it all. Not only were they here without being given a chance at a proper second life, but they're forced to work as the Musician's very weapons. Based on its words, however, Solomon would assume that such power was not the intended effect of his base desire. He was getting more and more familiar with such contracts, ever since he saw his parents sign their life away to it. He'd take out such parchment that he stored from the Chapel, reading through its fine print, understanding that whatever bind or restriction Jesta left to Sansol, it was to spur on his ideology to an extreme extent.

With this knowledge in mind, as well as locating the Musician himself, He would have Shady try to leave the area, long enough for the souls to take notice and to try and charge into it, hoping by grabbing the shadow it can force it to release them. All the while, he would be quick in moving towards Sansol's soul, setting up a spell directly onto his being, a test for himself. Whimpers and murmurs were made on Sansol, crying being heard, yet his face was covered, his mind wishing for everything to go back to the way it was before. Anguish was all that was written on him, making Solomon feel some amount of pity. He'd close his eyes as he'd place the commandment, catching the soul Off-Guard, prompting it to turn around and try to shout, yet Solomon would make himself known with his voice. "Thou...Shalt Not.....Kill." He'd utter, the marking quickly embedded onto him. As it did, the many other souls connected to the Umibozu would be infected the same, with some taking heavy damage the second it was on them, due to their killing intent. "Now that we pacified you a bit, mind explaining the sob story you got?" He'd ask, wanting to know Sansol's true reasoning. As he'd try to get a good look at his face, however, Solomon would be shocked to see something entirely different from him.

His face was completely gone, merely only skin and hair, indents to let the boy know he once had it before.

"...All I wanted is to help people be better...to reach Nirvana. To clear my mind and be at peace. That's what my father told me..." was all the Musician could muster. Solomon would take a deep breath as he'd try to calm himself, his mind waning the more he realized he was a victim to the contract.

"So you weren't aware of all this, huh?"

"No... not even once." His mumbles were harder and harder to understand, yet the boy can see through it. He needs closure. The other souls would try to retaliate, the seal glowing bright and burning through the Umibozu itself, slowly melting away. As soon as he'd hear the voice, Solomon would be quick to free it back out, now a vacant island, a mass of land surrounded by rock. The only water source available would be the rain, and even it is not enough to properly protect itself. "...Will I go to hell after all of this...?" the man asked weakly, his head beginning to split and have a cut across its scalp again, courtesy of Aiwass.

Solomon doesn't have the heart to answer his question, his silence being his only response, prompting the Umibozu to lash out in fear, in horror, in such isolation. He'd turn to his friends as he'd relay the information. "Found his weak point! He's not able to kill us anymore! He's also scared of passing on! Let's ease him in there!" He'd shout, prompting Stolas and Zazel to go in and attack, whilst Harvard would fly over to set up a seal, a summoning for a monster in the ocean.
