Brynn Williams blinked, took a look around and finally realized she was in a hospital.
"How did I end up in a hospital?" She was baffled.
She thought Kobi Taylor wouldn't even bother finding her a doctor, so it was strange he'd brought her to the hospital instead. When she saw that her attending doctor was the same one who had performed surgery on her before, she suddenly understood that he was one of Kobi Taylor's men.
No wonder Kobi Taylor suddenly became generous enough to send her for treatment.
"Why didn't you say something sooner if you were feeling unwell?!" Kobi Taylor scolded her.
Brynn replied awkwardly, "It's not a big deal. Just occasional palpitations; nothing serious."
What a thieving pot calling the kettle black. It was clearly him who hadn't found her a doctor, but now he was blaming her?
"So, it's not a big problem unless you die?!" Kobi Taylor suddenly raised his voice, glaring at Brynn fiercely.
