Edward Anderson's perfect expression cracked slightly, and he muttered quietly, "Am I disgusting?"
So in Bella Scott's eyes, he was a disgusting existence. This realization dealt him a significant blow. He thought he had been doing well recently, but somehow must have irritated Bella Scott and made her hate him so much.
"Look in the mirror and see just how disgusting your face is," Bella Scott added, not afraid of hurting Edward Anderson's pride at all.
Edward Anderson was unhappy after hearing this, "You should take a closer look. I think I'm quite good and not disgusting at all."
As he spoke, he moved his face closer to Bella Scott.
Bella Scott had been itching to do it, and she slapped his face directly.
With a crisp "snap," Edward Anderson, unprepared for the slap, was hit squarely on his face.
His face turned dark, "Why did you suddenly hit me?" Moreover, she did it without any warning or giving him a heads up, so he could mentally brace himself.
