Zhao Li answered, "Everything has been arranged, and the due date should be roughly the same as yours."
Upon hearing this, Ji Meishu finally relaxed.
The two clinked glasses, both seemingly in good spirits.
Ji Meishu glanced at the clock not far away and asked, "Why hasn't there been any news from the hospital yet?"
Zhao Li, oozing confidence, poured himself another glass, "It won't be so soon; all we need to do is wait for the good news. Jiang Qun is reliable in his work."
Even though Zhao Li said this, Ji Meishu still had some faint worries.
After a few drinks, Zhao Li's thoughts began to drift.
Looking at Ji Meishu sitting across from him, thinking of the days ahead when he would be powerful and influential, he felt ecstatic.
Only dim LED lights were on in the living room, casting flickering shadows.
Zhao Li turned his head toward the robotic butler in the living room and said, "Music."
The robotic butler responded, "Certainly, master."
