Bay and the others arrive back at the Pokémon Center.
Quil: You're back. Did you beat her?
Bay throws Quil the badge.
Bay: You weren't kidding when you said that Miltank was strong. But, I got it done in the end. So, are you gonna stop doubting my skills?
Quil: Amazing. I was sure that cow was unbeatable. But you guys managed to make it happen. I guess I was wrong.
Bay: See? Wasn't hard to admit after all.
Roco: I miss her already...
Eli: Speak for yourself. I never want to see that pink haired woman ever again.
Whitney bursts into the Pokémon Center.
Whitney: Great! You all are still here! How've you been since the gym battle?
They all just stare at her with nothing but dread in their eyes—except for Roco, he's just happy to see her again.
Whitney: Well, um, I just wanted to day congratulations for beating me, and I'm sorry for not giving you the badge when you asked...
Izo: You gave it to us in the end after some "convincing" so that's all that matters.
Whitney: Again, I'm so, so sorry. I promise to be more serious when it comes to my job– Oh my god is that a Togepi?!
She runs over to Geti and picks him up.
Whitney: So adorable!!!
Bay: I forgot about him. I guess we gotta get him back to the Professor now. It's gonna take a while to make it all the way back to New Bark.
Whitney plays with the baby, cause it to use Metronome by accident and teleporting the group back to New Bark Town. Whitney stands in the Pokémon Center confused.
Quil: Oh. That works.
Professor Elm runs out of his lab and immediately hugs Quil, Roco, and Bay.
Elm: I thought I heard your voice. You guys are home! I wish you had warned me before you came over, I would've got the lab all special.
Quil: There's no need for all of that. We're just happy to see you again.
Elm pulls back slightly.
Elm: Look how much you've grown already. I can't believe it's been only a month since I last saw you guys. I wish you can stay here with me.
Bay: It's not like we'll be gone forever. We'll be back once we're the champions of the Indigo League. For now, we just came to drop off someone to keep you company.
She hands over Geti to the Professor.
Roco: Take care of him like you took care of us. I'm sure he's gonna love you.
Elm wipes away a few tears and releases the kids from his hug.
Elm: Okay. Thank you all so much. I just want you all to stay safe. I believe in you.
He turns around and walks back into his lab before he break out into tears. Quil and the others set out to make Professor Elm proud.
