After a few more awkward exchanges, Atticus finally found out what they were on about. For Kael, he simply wanted to spar with Atticus, which to him, was utterly mind blowing.
Why the hell would he want to fight a god?
For Aric, it was more reasonable. The man hadn't been in the meeting with them but had somehow felt that there was an impending battle coming.
It was a sense Atticus found hard to believe existed, but he couldn't help but be more baffled when he saw that Aric hadn't been lying.
He really could sense when a battle was coming.
Atticus had eventually resigned and filled them both in on what was happening. He couldn't spar with Kael because of the limited time. And what Aric had felt was most likely the upcoming Virelenna.
After that, they both left, and Atticus was left alone to focus on his training. Settling down, Atticus entered a deep state of meditation. He cleared his mind and focused on only one thing…
His elements.
And just like that, one month passed.
