"Jonathan, before you fight. Was that thunder and lightning?
"Yes"
"I thought it didn't rain here?"
"No, it doesn't."
"The how does it-"
Jonathan presses forward. "Magic Ezekiel Magic! They're fighting in the sky! " he yells as he points up.
"Ohhh, Axel?!"
"Yup"
As Ezekiel looks up from the sidelines, Jonathan advances on Tay and the Twelve Stars from Falos.
Tay keeps her distance from the battle with Rowen beside her. "Are they not going to work together? I swear these mages are so dumb," as she rolls her eyes. She looks up at the parting storm. "I can't complain, though. I have a good matchup. It's a good thing for now. I just have to take them out one by one."
Jonathan rushes to Ai first with a smile on his face. "The blast," he thinks.
DODGE
"Hmm, nothing there."
PUNCH
DODGE
"Cmon, man, get serious! Stop playing around and fight them," Ezekiel yells from the side.
Jonathan looks at Ezekiel "This guy is so loud can't he see am just trying to figure them out."
PUNCH PUNCH
DODGE
SWOOSH
Arrows begin to shoot at Jonathan.
"Two attacks now," Jonathan says to himself.
SWOOSH
He catches one of the arrows, spinning it back to Tay.
Xi blocks it with a wall that she put up from the rubble around them.
"Not too bad, oh," he continues to dodge Ai's punches.
PUNCH
DODGE
"NOTHIN-"
BOOM
Jonathan side steps the blast emerging from the smoke.
"So, "The blast' name isn't for show, huh," he remarks.
WHOOSH
A giant piece of rubble gets tossed at him from the sky.
CRASH
"Is that all you can do? Pick up a piece of rubble and throw things?" Jonathan says to Xi.
Right after he dodges, Ai appears once more, looking to land a spin kick to Jonathan. "She's going to make this one explode." He steps back. "Huh"
No explosion.
HIT
Ai delivers a roundhouse kick to Jonathan that he nearly blocks.
"She faked it, not only that, but there seems to be a little more power in this one." He grabs her foot, sending her flying in the opposite direction.
DASH
Xi appears right in front of Jonathan.
His eyes widen as Xi punches him with two closed fists.
With a quick reaction time, Jonathan pulls out his twin pitch black daggers, again nearly blocking an attack from Xi.
"It appears they're going faster and stronger."
His hands begin to tremble, his legs begin to shake, and his body is slowly getting pushed back. "Argh," he grits his teeth and pushes the daggers forward. "Why aren't the daggers cutting through?"
CRACK
He noticed a small chip in his daggers and backflipped backwards in the air.
SWOOSH
SWOOSH
Multiple arrows begin to shoot at him whilst in the air from Rowen.
He twists and turns, hitting away all that he can.
SNIP SNIP
A couple of arrows get past and barely graze him.
From above Ai comes crashing down preparing to punch him too the ground. From below him Xi awaits for Ai's attack too hit first.
Jonathan throws one of his daggers to the ground. Using one to block Ai's diving attack and the other to teleport to where his dagger landed.
ZOOM
He teleports away, catching a quick breath.
SWOOSH
Just as he arrives, he's met with more arrows a couple of feet away from him too late tii grab the other dagger "I have to block" Jonathan told himself as he attempts to block it with his one dagger.
"Argh," His arm begins to burn with agonizing pain. He looks over at his arm, "This is where the arrows grazed me, why is it so.? Poison? Some kind of burning magic attached to the arrows?" he questioned.
He can't block the oncoming arrows.
Ezekiel steps in front of him, swiping the arrows away.
"See, I told you that you'll need my help."
"I guess I do," Jonathan says breathlessly. "Be careful... of those arrows," he warns Ezekie,l "there's something laced on them."
"Of course,e I know that's why I blocked it using my enhanced magic arm. You were trying-"
Ai and Xi appear from above them.
CLASH
Ezekiel blocks the Xi attack while Jonathan blocks the Ai.
BOOOM
AI uses an explosion, lighting up both mages at a point-blank range.
The smoke settles as Ezekiel remains unfazed in his Lionheart form, shielding Jonathan once more.
"I can take those," Ezekiel says proudly.
" You fool, if I hadn't put up a barrier, we both could have taken damage. If I were you, I wouldn't be taking any explosions at all," Jonathan says as he picks up his other dagger from the floor.
"Cmon, let's continue," Jonathan says.
Ezekiel looks at Jonathan's arm as one seems to be dangling compared too the other. "Watch yourself," he says too Jonathan.
"Worry about surviving this fight against these three, Ezekiel, especially your manapool," Jonathan warns.
The two proceed there attack.
"Remember, try not to hurt them badly. There, still our allies technically, " Jonathan says.
"It's going to be hard when they are trying to kill us."
"Wait, I think I can do something. Follow me," Jonathan says.
"That's what I'm already doing," Ezekiel replies.
While running, Jonathan activates multiple magic circles in the sky. White beams begin to reign from above. "Try not to get hit," Jonathan warns.
Ezekiel goes full speed ahead to challenge.
STAR MAGIC: LIONS ROAR
An amplified lion's roar creates a giant sonic boom that blasts away everything in front of him, destroying the wall that was made for Tay.
"Good," Jonathan says as he extends his left arm.
ILLUSION CREATION MAGIC: BOX
Using the copied illusion magic, Jonathan traps Xi inside the box.
AI attacks Ezekiel from behind.
"Ezekiel duck!"
Jonathan throws both of his daggers.
One barely hits Ezekiel's feet.
The other heading is towards Tay.
ZOOM
Jonathan appears where the dagger landed in front of Ezekiel as he stabs Ai in mid-air.
Her body freezes as a rose petal begins to form.
"That battle with Rose was useful."
ZOOM
Ezekiel follows up the attack landing and vicious lariat, too, slamming Ai into the ground in the process.
Jonathan appears once more in front of Tay. Rowen preparing to shoot a point blank arrow at his face.
Tay was shocked. "When did he get her so fast?" She attempts to lift her arm.
"Not so fast."
Chains begin to appear from the shadows as they restrain her and Rowen.
HUFF HUFF
STEP STEP
"Caught you," Jonathan says, pointing the daggers at Tay's face. "You did a number on my arm here."
STOMP STOMP
Ezekiel comes from around him, "Heal that man."
"Already on it," Jonathan responds as he plants both his daggers into the ground.
They both turn their attention to Tay.
Tay attempts to open her mouth.
MMMPH
Jonathan gets a piece of cloth from his clothing to wrap around Tay's mouth.
"Can't you perform for us today, Ms.Fleur?"
Ezekiel begins to turn back into his human form.
"Didnt think a pretty girl like her could cause all of this"
Tay's eyebrows squint towards the two as she glares at them.
"Oooohh scary," Jonathan says.
"Now, what are we going to do to bring these three back?" Ezekiel asks.
"Uhh, maybe one of us--"
SHINE
SHINE
SHINE
A Red, Purple, and Brown light shines from the three mages from Falos.
Jonathan and Ezekiel's eyes widened.
The three mages begin to slowly stand up.
"ULTIMA MAGICA," they say in unison in a monotone voice.
"Ugh dammit! I had a good night's sleep, and I got to do this!" Ezekiel says in an irritated voice, messing his hair up.
"Here we go again," Jonathan says as he picks up his daggers.
Moments before Back on the ground.
Jericho parries a confused Blade.
"It seems the storm has subsided for now. Has Axel finished the job?" Jericho wonders as he looks up in the clearing sky.
Blade jumps back a few feet as he checks his clothing and arms.
"His sword. Dammit it keeps scorching my clothes." blade says as he removes his attire and now wears a sleeveless shirt.
"Having trouble?" A deeper voice says in Blade's head.
Blade shakes his head, "No, not at all. Just trying to figure out this guy's fighting style."
"He's burning us with his sword, that's it, there's nothing to figure out. You should let me take over-"
"No!" Blade yells out loud, holding his head.
"My my, are you alright?" Jericho asks.
"If he's using fire, then I'll use Ice," Blade says. "You're facing a flame-based sword, don't you think-" "I'll win this one on my own."
"Fine, but when things get rough. I'll tag in," the voice says.
"Not if I finish him."
Jericho breaks into a laugh, "Finish me. Hahaha"
ZOOM
He dashes towards Blade with instant speed.
Jericho swings his blade towards Blade's midsection as he barely manages to dodge.
Blade swings the sword across the ground it creating an ice wall.
SIZZLE
CRASH
Jericho easily breaks through the wall as Siegfried just pierces through it.
CLASH
Their swords meet once again. This time, Blade's sword is facing the ground while Jericho's is in an upright position.
Jericho applies more pressure to his stance, pushes Blade back a bit.
Blade blasts ice on the ground.
Jericho begins to slip and lose his balance, causing him to do a split.
WHOOSH
A sudden surge of mana appears.
"What is this mana?" Jericho wonders. "Axel?" he says.
"What is going on up there, stormbringer?" The deeper voice inside of Blade's head says. "What is that?" Blade asks. "Hey, stay focused on him!" "R-right"
Blade begins to gain the edge as he begins using down Jericho with the ice sword. Ice begins to form from Blade's sword, creating ice to the hilt of the sword. However, that is how far it will go.
Water begins to drip from Blade's sword.
"Am beginning to lose grip, is it because his sword" Blade wonders.
Jericho looks at the sword and gives a little smile.
He pushes his sword forward, kicking Blade in the midsection and off of him.
Jericho leaps back.
Blade goes in for an attack once more.
Within an instant, Jericho swings his sword at a 180 angle in the opposite direction behind Blade.
SLASH
ARTRGHGHG
CLINK CLANK
Blade drops his sword as he stops and rolls all over the ground.
"It burns, it burns! Heal heal heal!" He yells in agony.
"I was slashing you with the intent to cut you in half, but your body is more durable than I anticipated," Jericho says, resting Siegfried on his shoulders.
Blade slowly gets on all fours. Shaking purfously, slowly grabbing his sword, and using it to maintain his balance.
"You still stand. I respect your resilience. May this strike be the last," Jericho says as he readies to strike. "I must be cautious here, something doesn't feel right."
VOOSH
He dashes, aiming for the head of Blade.
SLASH
Jericho steps back a few feet as a trickle of liquid falls from his forehead, and his eyes fill with red.
"Blood," Jericho says as he wipes it away and applies healing magic on it.
"You're quick, Dragonclad. I was aiming to chop off that entire chunk off your head, but you managed to dodge." Blade responds with a deeper and more menacing voice.
"Now you seem to be moving quite differently. Just a moment ago, you shook and barely managed to hold your sword. Now, it looks like you never took any damage while holding your sword with a tight stance. Furthermore, you were able to catch me off guard. What kind of trick are you pulling on me?"
Blade stares at Jericho. "Ugh, I guess the jig is up."
"Hey, are you revealing it now?" a nonchalant voice in Blade's says. "Might as well. We are the second star Gemini The Duo."
"Another Twelve Star is fascinating. Gemini the Duo. Duo, as you two in one body?"
"Yes"
"Makes sense now. Being the Duo, can that also mean you can split into two?"
"No comment." Blade responds.
"I'd take that as a yes. Well, one two, no matter how many of you there are. I can proudly say I defeated another Twelve Star." Jericho smiles and points Siegfried at Blade.
"Haha, such confidence you have, Dragonclad. I can't wait for you to eat those words." Blade readies himself.
"My actions will speak louder than words," Jericho says, jamming his sword into the ground. placing both his hands on the bottom of the sword.
{ARMOR ENHANCE: SIEGFRIED}
A giant influx of mana surrounds him.
Jericho emerges from the mana flames, and his wings appear. He was once again in black and gold armor, boots, long pants, a cape, shoulder pads, a chest piece, and gloves. That very subtly dark red is integrated within the armor. The mana flames get extinguished from behind, and they are now concentrated in one place—the hilt of his sword.
WHOOSH WHOO9OSH WHOOOSH
Another burst of mana comes in.
"Three this time," Jericho says.
"Tay, you've done it now" Blade says.
"What is that?"
"Well, you are not going to find out until you defeat me!" Blade charges in.
"If that's the case, so be it!"
