The maid chased her from behind. Sophie Sullivan gathered her troublesome skirt hem and started running.
She ran towards the light and the exit.
As she bolted from the dark room, she saw a man in black on patrol.
Ignoring everything else, she confronted him, "Where's the Young Master?"
The man in black remained expressionless. "You have no right to know."
"I need to contact the Young Master."
Glancing at the maid catching up from behind, Sophie Sullivan turned her head and continued, "Let me call the Young Master. I'll bear all the consequences."
Of course, the man in black would not easily give away his mobile phone, let alone allow her to contact Thomas Shannon.
Every individual in the castle had a strict set of survival rules to abide by. A mistake could not be simply resolved by her statement that she would 'bear all the consequences'.
The maid caught up and seized her. "Dare to run again!"
