Kevin Cliff stared at the woman in front of him in disbelief, as she stood with her eyes shut tight, arms outstretched, a look of resigned protection over another man.

"Charlotte Green, you're done for." Ethan, munching on a chicken wing, mourned for his foolish mother in silence.
Upon hearing her son's voice, Charlotte slowly opened her eyes, only to meet a pair of chilling ice-cold eyes. She realized what she had done and quickly retracted her hands, walking towards him, "Chen Yun hasn't offended you, you shouldn't do this."
"He hadn't offended me before, but he has now," Kevin Cliff said coldly.
Charlotte took his hand and gently shook it, "Don't be like that, haven't I already agreed to let him be Crystal's housekeeper?"
Kevin Cliff coldly withdrew his hand, not allowing her to touch him.
