It was a thin piece of A4 paper.
There was only one line of text printed on it, Kevin Cliff wrapped his arms from behind around his wife and child, and took the paper to read with Charlotte Green—it said, "It's time to claim the compensation I am owed."
"Compensation? What does this mean?" Charlotte's face turned pale in an instant.
It wasn't the frightening scenes she feared, but the so-called claiming compensation made her even more worried—who knew what kind of price they would have to pay?
"If it's just this, then I am relieved," Kevin Cliff said with a slight smile, crumpling the paper into a ball and tossing it into the trash can in the corner.
Charlotte didn't understand, "Aren't you worried?"
"What else should I be afraid of, besides you and Ethan?" Kevin held his large and small treasures, fearlessly declaring.
