Bai Shen furrowed his brow at Li Meixue's statement, a sense of unease lingering in the air.
He motioned for her to explain, his eyes darting between the twins and the distressed members of his Territory.
Meixue sighed, "There's been a dispute with another group nearby. They claim our territory encroaches on theirs, and tensions are escalating between our members and theirs—even as far as throwing in some insults."
"We've been trying to negotiate, but it's not going well."
Bai Shen's mind raced as he assessed the situation.
The last thing he needed was internal strife, especially when he had just heard of a possible enemy that would probably be against any negotiations with him.
He turned to the twins, "Da Qiao, Xiao Qiao, I need you both to stay here for now. Meixue and I will try to resolve this matter."
With determined nods, the sisters stayed back as Bai Shen and Meixue went out to try and resolve the conflict.
