Ryan Gregory furrowed his brow, cautiously attempting to push open the door, only to discover it was locked.
Since it was locked, it seemed all the more suspicious.
His heart tightened...
But for now, he had to remain silent, so as not to alert whoever was inside.
His Adam's apple bobbed as a thin layer of cold sweat formed on his nose.
Pangs of pain throbbed in his chest, forcing him to grit his teeth and endure as he observed the surroundings, searching for the best way to get in.
The door might be locked, but it was severely damaged. With enough force, breaking it down should be possible.
Ryan clenched his fists, stepped back a few paces, and prepared to ram the door.
Little did he know, inside the room, Sofia Hamilton had been thrown into a corner and was struggling desperately but couldn't free herself from the ropes binding her hands.
